[OOC]Chapter 1 - New York, January 1925

Using the 2018 remastered edition of Masks.

March 1921, Lima, Peru: A disparate group of academics and adventurers gather to assist Augustus Larkin's expedition to locate a pyramid long forgotten by history.

Years later a friendship forged in Peru will bring this group together again - can the investigators unravel the mysteries of the Carlyle Expedition massacre before it's too late?

I've missed all your characters - just getting my head back around the story at the moment.

I'm expecting to be able to post later in the weekend. I'll make sure that I get posting regularly again this week, to help get the game moving.

Okay, I'm finally back. :)

Should be able to post as regularly as I used to, although the investigators at the library will need to wait a little bit longer while things wrap up at Millie Adams' house.

Sorry for not posting last week, my wife has been waiting for an operation for a while and had it at very short notice last week - she got asked if she was available "tomorrow". Most of my offline periods have been related to my wife's illness, so hopefully things are going to be better in future. :D

I nearly managed to post yesterday, but didn't have time to write a long post, and also didn't want Millie and Rebecca to make small talk.

If you're not active in that thread, please could you just make a quick OOC post here so that I know you're still around?

@Leonulf: Are you still happy to join in? I'll PM some details about Rebecca Shosenburg today to allow you to make your character. Should be okay to take her over after maybe one more NPC post. Sorry for the HUGE delay getting you into the game.

Great to have you back mate, and best wishes to your wife - I hope she’s recovering well!

Needless to say I’m still in, and will post ASAP.

Glad to be back-- I forgot how much fun I have playing Marcus until I made that post. :)

Hope all is well and your wife's recovery goes wonderfully.

Thanks. :)

I'm going to post a reply IC later today. Once the Millie's house thread is wrapped up, would anyone mind if we try to get you all back together before you visit anywhere potentially dangerous?

There's a four hour in-game time gap between the two IC threads, and I don't want those at the library to have to sit things out for ages now I'm back.
