[OOC]Chapter 1 - New York, January 1925

Using the 2018 remastered edition of Masks.

March 1921, Lima, Peru: A disparate group of academics and adventurers gather to assist Augustus Larkin's expedition to locate a pyramid long forgotten by history.

Years later a friendship forged in Peru will bring this group together again - can the investigators unravel the mysteries of the Carlyle Expedition massacre before it's too late?

I was thinking using Anderson's 65% in fast talk but it would be the same as Amy.

Sorry again for the slow pace. I'm especially sorry for not getting further with the Sing Sing thread before jp1885 went on holiday

I'll try to get Adam's monologue typed up quickly, so at least that thread is ready to move when jp1885 is back. :)

We knew he was going to be away. Not a big deal.

I'm hoping to get a new Sing Sing post written before I go to bed tonight. I had expected to have it done this afternoon, but day didn't pan out as expected (par for the course at the moment).

I'm going to try and stop making predictions like this.

Anyway I've got posts up in both threads now, and I promise that I'm doing my best to get back to daily posts. 8-)

Thanks. :)

I'm really enjoying running the game.

I should have mentioned in the IC thread, that that's the end of my Hilton Adams monologue. He might have more to say, but it depends what you ask him now. Sorry for the wall of text, I'd have split the last part into two if I'd managed daily posts this week. :)

Both IC threads look like they're close to wrapping up now.

If you like, I can move you all back to the city that evening, or even skip onto Thurday morning, depending what else you'd like to investigate before Jackson arrives tomorrow.

If you're not sure then you can just discuss IC on the train, or back in NY over an evening meal.

Obviously, I'll need to finish Amy's telephone conversation before moving on regardless.

I think we have enough leads from Adams to investigate, so I'm happy to move on if my colleagues are.
Fast forward to our arrival in NY maybe? Cynthia's first move will be to head back to her digs and put the sword somewhere where it can't be stolen and used to implicate her in anything.

Tend to agree. We have several leads to investigate, though it depends on the time of day. If it's evening meal probably best to wait to pursue any of them until tomorrow.

If you meet up in New York for a meal, I'll be moving the clock to about 6pm.

I guess you may as well do that to decide IC what to do next? Then if you don't want to investigate anyway before the morning, we'll skip ahead again.

Okay. It looks like everyone might be finished now.

So if anyone has anything to add to the current threads, please post asap.

I'll put up a new thread with you all back in New York, meeting at the same place as yesterday evening. The time will be 6pm, and you'll have all had time to nip home if you wish (eg Cynthia hiding her sword).

I plan on making one more post to the prison IC thread. I'll have time to do it on my lunch break.

Edit: More like towards late afternoon. I forgot that I had an afternoon meeting. -.-
