[OOC]Chapter 1 - New York, January 1925

Using the 2018 remastered edition of Masks.

March 1921, Lima, Peru: A disparate group of academics and adventurers gather to assist Augustus Larkin's expedition to locate a pyramid long forgotten by history.

Years later a friendship forged in Peru will bring this group together again - can the investigators unravel the mysteries of the Carlyle Expedition massacre before it's too late?

I'll wait until the next IC Keeper post is made before I post Atauchi. He will be looking into the Voodoo Murders. He only has the default Library Use skill level, but does have quite a few points in Occult (38%). If someone finds something, maybe he can make sense of it.

The last couple of days were unexpectedly manic and I needed an early night last night, sorry again.

Misplaced confidence unfortunately, sorry again.

I have got a post partially written, and I'll be able to finish it later today. I've finished work for the week.

I've got a nice job where I'm normally able to find time to write posts while getting my work done, or during lunchtime, but occasionally I'm crazy busy. This was just a crazy busy week.

The next couple of weeks should be fine, and although I've got some stuff to do at home during my long weekend, I'll be able to post every day while I'm off as well.

Sorry for the hold up, I'll get the post finished later today.

Finally made that post!

Note that if you spend some more time researching the same things later, it'll get easier to uncover the hard / extreme details.

I found this link regarding the NY railroads. It seems that according to this page, the Hudson River Railroad line went straight through the Sing Sing prison yard. Convenient for us! @Raiko There's even a graphic you may want to use for the prison facility. FYI, info on Sing Sing is about half way down the page.

Seems logical to take the train and then hail a taxi or two. Failing that, both Cynthia and Atauchi have slightly above base driving skill, so Cynthia could try to blag a motor from the university maybe?

I agree with taking the train.

Also, it's 1925, so Dr. Sanchez need not go outside to smoke. Good thing too, as it's very cold out there.

True enough. In 1925 people saw nothing wrong with children chain smoking, heh

FYI, I won't be able to post IC until Monday. Too much going on this weekend. Atauchi will certainly want to comment on the facility before being ushered inside.

No problem, enjoy your weekend. I'll post replies to the existing posts today, but will wait for an Atauchi post before actually moving you inside the prison.

@jp1885: Yes Cynthia has the paperwork.
