[OOC]Chapter 1 - New York, January 1925

Using the 2018 remastered edition of Masks.

March 1921, Lima, Peru: A disparate group of academics and adventurers gather to assist Augustus Larkin's expedition to locate a pyramid long forgotten by history.

Yeah, I just hope Anderson, Sanchez, and yours truly haven't frozen to death. We've been waiting for that cab to arrive for over two months. ;)

Great, it might be Monday when I PM the details for Rebecca, but I'll do it today if I get chance. I had stuff ready in a word document that's on.my work PC.

I'll hopefully get that IC post done today as well.
As Zero pointed out, Atauchi and the others outside the library must be pretty cold by now.

Apologies if I’m a little slower in posting at the moment. I’ve just got a new job and the learning curve is extremely steep! I’ll do my best to keep up and hope my middle-aged brain cells hold out :D

Is everyone ready to move on to the morning?

Assuming that those at Millie's house aren't planning to visit anywhere during the night, then the house will be dark and the speakeasy closed by the time the others leave the museum and get a taxi.

So would you like to meet up at the museum or a café in the morning?

I've still to send the character details to Leonulf, but haven't forgotten.

Cafe is a bit more public than I'd like if we're going to discuss our findings. At the museum we can find an office in the basement to talk things over away from anyone who may want to listen in. Atauchi still thinks the cult knows we're onto them and that they will be making our lives difficult soon.

I'm ready to move on to the morning, and the museum sounds good to me too.

I'm good as well. Personally Marcus would prefer an open area like a cafe so he could spot any tails, but he'll go with the group consensus.

Yep happy to move on. I vote for the museum - a room with plenty of escape routes!

Apologies (again) I've been extremely busy this week. I've expected to be able to post every day, so I avoided writing something OOC, but I've not managed to post until now.

I've posted the new IC thread - moving the game on to the morning of the 15th January - and I've locked the two existing threads.

I think that Mr Handy won't be able to post until Monday, but there should be chance for everyone else to post something at least.

Leonulf, I've got a PM mostly sorted out with the details that you'll need to create a personalized version of Rebecca Shosenburg, I hope to add everything else tonight. So you should be able to get her ready before Amy phones her later. I've no interest in roleplaying office politics at the New York Times, but the timing of things should mean that you're 100% part of the team by the time you've all met up with Jackson Elias.

Ok, dont worry about being busy (same situation here, very pregnant wife and kitchen is having to be replaced haha) so waiting has been convenient for me.

So from the point the phone call starts my participation kicks in for the response? (checking just so i dont break things!)

Personally, I was going to wait until they finished that scene first, before I posted at the museum.

That's fine. Sorry about the slow pace. I'm doing my best to get back to replying within 24 hours to any post. Still got my fingers crossed. :)

@Leonulf, yes Rebecca is all yours I won't be posting again with her as an NPC. I'll try to finish the PM today, before the chat with Jackson finishes.

I have FINALLY had time to finish adding details to my PM to Leonulf.

@Leonulf, you can begin play with Rebecca immediately, no need to wait until you've tweaked her skills. Maybe just agree to meet at the museum or the Hotel / Coffee shop, so that everyone else isn't still waiting for Amy and Cynthia?
