Edit: More like towards late afternoon. I forgot that I had an afternoon meeting. -.-

No worries, I'll leave the two Westchester County IC threads open until everyone has started to post in the new IC thread. So anyone who wants to make a final post in one of the old threads can do.

The new IC thread is now posted here.

Thanks! I must admit I was expecting one of us to get shanked at any moment, so it's nice to finish that thread intact!

Ha! Yes, it turns out that Sing Sing is one of the safest places to visit in the campaign.

SING SING Prison leads
    Dr. Mordecai Lemming, the folklorist;
Silas N'Kwane, African magic expert at this Ju Ju House
Needham Johnson, one of the Hellfighters.
Millie Adams (wife of death row man)
    Rebecca Shosenburg
Maybelle, she of Fat Maybelle's and her charming pal Mukunga M'Dari

I suggest we visit Millie this afternoon and maybe we get to talkto Dr.Mordecai also? Then pick up Jackson in the morning and go to Carlyle?

@Anatomist, I edited your post to say January, rather than February - which I think you meant.

One thing that everyone in New York, including your investigators, knows is that as well as being the darkest moon of the month January 24th 1925 is also a total solar eclipse in NYC.

I've no NPC to prod things along in the cafe, so if you do your best to plan your next move by Monday or Tuesday, then I'll make sure I'm ready for starting the next thread. :)

If it takes longer than that to plan, then no worries, but I think you've mostly decided already, just a case of roleplaying it first.

Finally found some free time to make a couple of IC posts. I'm done in the prison thread now. Feel free to close it.

I'll open some new IC threads as soon you reach a consensus on what to do next.

As Sánchez's luck roll was so good, we'll assume that he can be pretty sure that contact at the library is good enough to give out of hour access - and that they'll be available if you get there soon. I'm not going to waste your good roll by asking for a second one when you get to the library.

Incidentally, I've recruited a new player: Leonulf will be playing the NY Times investigative reporter Rebecca Shosenburg once you meet her. She'll probably be an NPC for a couple of posts, while she imparts what she knows.

Welcome Leonulf. :)

I mentioned to Leonulf that it might be a couple of weeks before he can join in. So it's okay to continue with your plans.

I'm pretty sure we all know what we're doing next.

Cynthia and Amy are going to see Mrs Adams and Sanchez asked Atauchi and Marcus to provide protection.
Sanchez and Anderson are going to the library.

I think that's right anyway.

Oh, and welcome to New York Leonulf!

It seems a bit overkill to send 4 to one area. I'm kind of stuck on that and can't think of how Atauchi would propose splitting up differently.

Maybe accompany Sanchez and Anderson to the library, just in case?

That's kind of what I was thinking. Don't want to frighten the poor woman with too many visitors. Besides, 1920s Harlem was completely safe, well relatively. ;)

I'm having a bit of a busy week, moving one of my eldest out of her university accommodation.

I'll post the new IC threads as soon as I've time. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow, but it might get to weekend.

No worries. I've been busy myself, I would have been slow to keep up through the weekend.

Thanks. :)

And still I've not posted.
I'll have time to get the new threads up a little later today, and should be okay next week.
