As curious as Rufus is, he isn't going to break into this woman's house. He heads back around to the front yard.

Anna saw Rufus coming around the corner. "Lord Rufus, did you find anything of note?"

"The blinds are drawn on the second floor, she may be hiding something up there. Not sure what we can do about it though"

Anna frowned. "It would be improper to break into someone else's house on a light suspicion. I'd say we alert Maxwell's Sanitarium and move on with our next clue then. According to Madeline, she had spent last night in a tin shed down the block. I think we can all agree that she's hiding something. Perhaps heading down there will offer some further information."

Spoiler:
I'd forgotten to mention the Anderson shelter in my description of the alley that Rufus saw. I edited it into the post. That's the tin shed where she said she spent the night.

"...I'm assuming the tin shed right over there's where she spent the night. I think it would be a good idea to have a look around." Anna quickly added.

"Indeed, I believe it would be worth investigating"

Rufus and Anna went around to the alley behind the house. The Anderson shelter was actually composed of corrugated steel rather than tin, which made it very strong. It was about six feet high, so tall occupants would need to duck in order to fit inside, though once seated they would not risk bumping their heads. It went about the same distance back, and it was a little less wide. Inside the shelter were two benches, one on either side, stretching to the back of the shelter upon which the occupants could sit or even lie down. It seemed rather ordinary, similar to other Anderson shelters in this alley and throughout London.

There was nothing unusual about the Anderson shelter that Anna could see. It looked like any of a million others.

Rufus looks around the shelter. "I'm afraid we may be coming to a dead end in our investigation, it may be time to let law enforcement know the little we do know, unless you have another lead."

Rufus could see that the shelter did show signs of recent occupation.

"If we are truly going to figure out what's going on, we need someone with the authority to search the house. I've also been wondering if you believe it was the madwoman who murdered that girl, I initially believed so, yet, while the woman is dangerous nothing suggest she would mutiliate someone to the point it would be mistaken for an animal attack. I find it hard to believe the two are coincidence, however. Perplexing." Rufus rubs his chin in thought.

"Perhaps there are some vital piece of the puzzle that we're missing. Catherine Exter couldn't have possibly escaped on her own, and I feel certain that Madeline is hiding something. Unfortunately, we have no physical evidence to back up our suspicions. Perhaps we could visit the museum where Catherine had been involved in 'The Incident'. They may offer some additional clues or details that we're missing." Anna replied in frustration, she was sure that there's something happening amidst the chaos. She feels uneasy about all this.

Spoiler:
Anna knew that the British Museum opened at 10:00 AM, so there would be quite a wait if they went there directly. Perhaps it would be best to meet up with the others from the shelter first.

"Perhaps it would be a good idea to meet up with everyone else from the shelter first. The museum opens at 10AM. We probably have the time to go and have a lil' chat. Hmm. Now, where did they say we would meet up again?" Anna said, sighing. She's not much of a detective. She does, however, happen to have a sharp memory.
