In the wings (OOC)

Journey with us to an alternative 1898, where history rubs shoulders with imagination. Where ‘what was’ is replaced by ‘what might have been’. Leagues of Adventures presents, for your edification – ‘The Dreaming Spires, episode one of the Great Game Campaign’.

“... A time when science itself stands poised to usher in a new golden age, or doom the world to terrible war.
In the ancient university of Cambridge, the scion of an aristocratic family has gone missing, unearthing a plot which threatens to plunge the British Empire into chaos.
Can the intrepid globetrotters solve the Cambridge conspiracy before it’s too late? What secrets lie hidden beneath its dreaming spires?”

Sorry Victoria I completely missed your recent posts. Me very bad.
I shall check over your character for you soon. As to starting, hold on until a suitable opening presents itself.

Everyone - I shall be away from the computer from Friday (22nd) to Monday (25th July).

Sorry I've been hit and miss when it comes to posting... after 17 years of renting my wife & I decided to buy our first house and we've been slowly moving into it. Next weekend will be the final big push, once that's out of the way I should be back to posting consistently, assuming there's no hiccups.

First there were four, then there were three, now we are down to one and a very occasional two. If nonone wishes to continue this adventure any more, please tell me so I can move on.

I just got my internet hooked up at my new house. Give me a day or so to catch up and I'll be back in the game. Sorry for the delay, but as I said before my wife and I bought a house so we've been moving.

Sadly, due to real life issues, I am going to have to close the curtains on this game. Thankyou for your participation.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand. We should leave the board where it is for a little while to give the other players a chance to see this. When you're ready, which you can indicate by posting here, I'll move the game to the Graveyard. I can always pull it back out later so we can resume it if you have time in the future.

Hang tight on removing anything; I'm pretty certain that I'll take over the reins of this - if we can scare up 2 players to take over the character's I'm currently running. I don't have the scenario/campaign (yet) - I'll make a firm decision after my holiday 23rd ish.

It'll be a shame to fold this game.

I assume it's safe to say this game has been cancelled, shelved, forgotten?

Well, I hope not - I've posted a quick scene... I do hope you're willing to carry on.

It's the usual story I'm afraid, a sudden lack of time ... I would like to carry on and bring this game to a successful conclusion (and maybe run something more suitable one I get my hands of the up-coming 'Leages of Cthulhu' supplement). One of the issues (apart from lack of time) was the fact that some key information had already been divulged (too early in the game) but I've had some time to work things out in a new order
