You're welcome. I'm back now, but I'm still catching up and don't have time to update tonight. Tomorrow night doesn't look good either, but hopefully Wednesday night will work. In the meantime, anyone who hasn't posted yet for one or more of their characters should do so. You are also free to post more than once between major updates for your characters, so you can hold IC conversations with each other. Just keep in mind that you shouldn't try to do too much stuff between major updates.

I've added combat rules to the Rules and Guidelines thread, just in case it comes up for certain characters.

Several players did not post since my previous update on Wednesday, but I needed to update earlier anyway. Please make sure you post for all of your characters between major updates. If your character(s) does get involved in combat, please try to post more frequently.

It's fine if they're all in that thread for now. It's a big area, and they're not all going to be in the same part of it. Baldwin's truck is at the garage, so he'll probably be moving to a new thread soon anyway.

So is it acceptable for us to know about zombies and start talking like they are zombies from popular fiction/movies come to reality?

In the last run of the game, characters did start doing that once they found out the hard way. I know that in All Flesh Must Be Eaten's War of the Dead, it is presumed to be an alternate history where George Romero's movies and everything derived from them never happened, but I think it's all right if we just use the real world instead. There are zombie movies, games, and so on, but everyone knows zombies aren't real...until you discover for yourself that they are. I'll leave it up to you when you think that a particular character of yours has seen enough to make the connection. Right now, to most people this seems like some sort of disease or something.

I was just thinking that watching a zombie literally claw their way out of the ground is just so stereotypical zombie that you can't help but make a connection.

Yes, I think that would do it. I just don't want to spoil anything for any players whose characters have not yet witnessed something.

I was at a convention over the weekend, and I didn't have enough time to update after getting back from it. I hope I'll have enough time tomorrow night. In the meantime, those of you who haven't posted for one or more of your characters have a little more time to finish.

I've been sick myself for the past few days anyway. I probably won't have time to update tonight. I might be able to do it tomorrow if I'm too sick to go to work but not too sick to update, but otherwise it will have to wait at least another day.

Don't worry, you didn't hold up anything. I wasn't able to update anyway, as I've been sick and at a convention, and you weren't the only player who didn't post. I'll try to update tomorrow.

I've made an addition to the rules. Any critical hit (not merely an impale) on a zombie will automatically hit it in the head without having to roll for a hit location. A critical hit on a called shot on a zombie's head will do additional damage.
