OOC: Make a roll idea.

Crowley:
The morning is clear, you would never believe the terrible weather it was some hours ago. Make a spot hidden roll to find the bodies.

Butch:
As soon as you speak, someone answers you.

[Snapper]

Crowley:

OOC:   Fail. Oops, misplaced them.

Malone joins Crowley to see if he can help him find the bodies under the snow. 'Yiu can't have dragged them far in that storm.'

OOC:   Success if he can roll to help

"We did not receive your broadcast from last night. The signal was interrupted by the storm. You said the last message you got from this base was strange. We have not found any living people at this base and the generator was disabled. We are currently attempting repairs. What was the last message you received from this base? Over." Butch says.

[Mr. Handy]

Realizing that he never searched the plane, Harry checks it out to see if he finds anything the others missed.

Malone and Crowley:
You find the bodies, it was probably the wind that move them.


Harry:
You find a map with the route of the city in the plane.

Butch:
"They said that some people were turning violent for no reason and then stopped sending any message at all".

[Mr. Handy]

Harry takes the map and shows it to the others.

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley sets about digging some graves in the ice, or building cairns if that won't work.

OOC:   We are part of the same expedition, aren't we? So we presumably know or recognise the dead in the hut and have some idea who has gone exploring?

OOC: You are all members of the same expedition, and you were presented at a debrienfing, so you know all of them. But some people are students, others don't belong to the university and even the teachers are people from other departments that you don't know very well.

Crowley
You bury the dead.

After a while, Harry is calling you all and show you a map

Alex finishes helping Crowley bury the dead and then says a brief prayer. He heads over to Harry to take a look at the map.

[Mr. Handy]

"I found this map on the plane," says Harry. "It shows the route to the city."

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Intrigued, Crowley goes to inspect the map as well.

The city is about a day of walking (more or less) to the south.

[Mr. Handy]

"We'll need to find this city," says Harry, "before the Nazis realize their team isn't responding and send more. They clearly already know where to find it somehow."

If the others on the radio don't know any more than what they said, Butch will end the call and go find the others.

"They said the people of this base turned violent for no reason and from what we could see, someone killed and dissected people in the base." Butch says to the others. "Was anyone able to find out what happened or why they chose to die in the cold with kerosene rather than seek shelter or warmth?"

After getting caught up on the map and the city, he will offer his view, "The weather is far too cold for us to walk to the city without knowing we have shelter or heat there. It would be better if we could use the snow sleds or some other motorized vehicle."

[Mr. Handy]

"We could take the sleds," says Harry, "but all of the dogs are dead. If there's a snowmobile or something here, that would be ideal. What about the plane? Can it be made to fly, and does it have enough fuel?"

[Snapper]

Crowley:

"Perhaps we could get in touch with our base camp, Little America, by radio? We should update them if nothing else, I'm sure they are very anxious to know what is happening. We can have them send our plane back here and I can fly it to this city."

OOC:   Does our expedition have more than one aircraft? Also, I had assumed the Nazi aircraft was damaged beyond repair but may be mistaken with that

OOC: The plane is too damaged and you would need some new components. If you ask for the radio, they will send you a plane and your "double" characters.

[Mephistophilis]

'What do the Nazis want with this city? If it is something like we saw in South America we need to beat them to it' says Alex.

[Mr. Handy]

"Yeah," says Harry. "Let's get them to send us a plane. It's the fastest way."
