Thanks! I don't have time tonight, but I should tomorrow. Is that 308 points tacked onto the base skills, or are we going from 0?

I'll take the following skills:
Handgun(primary) 80%
Dodge 75%
First Aid 75%
Spot Hidden 78%

I've also copied the background from the PM, modified for the setting.

Appearance & Personality: Kathryn is an attractive woman with shoulder length red hair and blue eyes. She is 5' 4" tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She is somewhat shy, but she truly cares about those she protects and acts in a professional manner. She does not believe in the supernatural, but she is convinced that there's a rational explanation for everything. She's also a night owl, and she dislikes mornings intensely.

Background: Kathryn was born in Los Angeles in January 1971 and grew up there. Her favorite show as a child was "The A-Team," which really spoke to her and inspired her in her future choice of career. She has a strong desire to protect the innocent and stop injustice. She was in high school during the waning days of the Cold War, but she had the foresight to recognize the new threats that the world faced long before most people ever considered them. When she graduated from high school in 1989, she did not go to college. Instead she joined A.I.M. to fulfill her dream of being a soldier of fortune. Her parents were extremely disappointed and worried for her, but there was no dissuading her.

Kathryn went through intense training during the following year, where she showed an aptitude for nighttime covert operations. Then in early August 1990, Saddam Hussein invaded and occupied Kuwait, a move which she had anticipated and one that boded ill for the coming 21st century. Her first missions were in Kuwait and southern Iraq, where she helped people defect to Saudi Arabia, sabotaged the Iraqi military, and took part in laying the groundwork for Operation Desert Storm.

During the early 1990s, Kathryn saw action in various theatres: Yugoslavia, Rwanda, and various locations in North Africa and the Middle East. She has redoubled her efforts to combat terrorism, certain that it was going to reach America's shores and determined to protect her country, and she has been working as a counter-terrorism specialist for the FBI. When she's not in the field, she lives in New York, a city she knows is a prime target for terrorists.

Family Members: Kathryn is an only child. Her parents are living in L.A., but they don't speak to her much. Her grandfather, Sam Petersen, is still alive and kicking at the ripe old age of 75. He had volunteered for the Abraham Lincoln Brigades in the Spanish Civil War and later the RAF, fighting the Lufftwaffe over England while the U.S. was still officially neutral. He understands why Kathryn has chosen the path she has and is very proud of her. The two of them talk quite frequently.

Just a point of interrest Mr Handy. but Kathryn's grandfather was unlikely to be a member of the international Brigade and a Flying Tiger. Apart from his young age (he's only 19 in 1939 when the SCW finishes) when he comes back from Spain he would have been marked as a "Premature Anti-Fascist", not only would this have crippled any military career ( "Premature Anti-Fascist" were not eligible for promotion) but it would have been unlikely for him to have been chosen for the Tigers. One Army Air Corps pilot who was chosen was then refused a passport and unable to go, for just this reason. So either an Internationalist or a Flying Tiger, but unlikely to be both. Also if he's a flying tiger then probably older he's got to enlist, do flight training and get some hours under his belt, because they only chose experienced flyers (although many lied about their experience, it tended to be the type of experience they had bombers or transports rather than pursuit)

That's a good point. Perhaps he could have gone to England (possibly through Canada) instead and flown for the RAF in 1940-1 instead. They needed every pilot they could get, and experience was optional.

Yep, he would have had to go directly from Spain to the UK, or else he would have been denied a passport again. But us Brits with all out Socialist tendencies treated our returning volunteers as heroes :)

There, I've edited it.

Well, that's America for you. We support democracies as long as they don't elect someone we don't like.
