OOC thread - off game topics

Something was found in the mountain of Megiddo or Armageddon as the Christians are calling the place. A group of scientist archaeologists, reporters are gathered and plan to head to the Middle East under the flag of the College University of London.
What are they going to find? What will find them?

Can you make a update post for us when you get us (players) gathered?

So, is the game still going? I liked the theme, and it would be a shame to see it dead. Even with just 2 players, keep the campaign!

Made a small essentials equipment list on the bottom of my character post.
Will add stuff to it as the game goes when Detective Rev gains more items.

This Thread needs a update. - viewtopic.php?f=145&t=1841

Kabuki and Anatomist.
Holst and our group priest Dyer (Hopefully a new player will take over him soon) read the prof. journals (You can find them in the Loot thread).
Rev and Lambert (NPCed by me until the real Lambert will return to the game) are not aware of what happened to Mary and the professor Frankfurt. This is told in the journals.

So if Rev wants to refer to certain topics about the "switching-bodies thing" HOlst will have to reveal before him what he and Dyer found out in the journals.

Michael Rev does know about Mary http://www.callofcthulhu.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=145&t=1977#p82292

Hi there all, looks like I may be taking the role of the priest over in the near future. Gimme a couple of days to read the backstory and I'll be ready by Wednesday / Thursday.

Great, Check out Dyer stats in the character's thread and post a new post under your name in the character's thread.
then, I will delete the old post Howard posted.
Read the threads in the following order to get a clear view of what happened and what Dyer know:
1. the Meeting . ( A short one)
2. The professor's house.
3. The days after the creature. ( A short one)
4. The journey to the Middle-East. (Present thread)

"NPCs", "Time line" and "notes & loot" are game-info threads. check'em cursorily.
When you feel ready, post in the present game thread.

Welcome abroad.

Welcome Cearlan,
Post the character in your own post in the character's gallery. I will then delete the old Father Dyer post.
Thanks,

Thanks Roy, I'll keep it as is - see I CAN be flexible.

P.S. Did Howerd make a list of stuff the good rev was taking with him to the middle East? Do I still have time to get one in?

I'm not sure Howard did a list.
You can write a new list.

A bit unsure at this point what the other chars want to do.... We got the possessed father tied up and we are in Gibraltar taking a boat over to africa? or directly to mid east?

The thing is... as long the father is possessed the one controlling him hear, see and know all the father can hear and se. A perfect spy among us. On the other hand getting rid of the possessed father in one way or another implies the morale of not helping the fathers soul to reposes his body...
As far michael rev goes he is more preoccupied of getting to mid east and probably find the woman behind the body possessing and creature in the cellar making. Rev will not hesitate in even kill the possessed father if that is what it takes. He realizes the danger they all are in.

hmm ... interesting. Kabuki? Cearlan?
A reminder - Rev is chasing the woman since she is the suspect (according to Prof. Frankfurt) of giving birth to the horrible creature and for killing the human children to serve food and limbs for the creature.
You suspect that she possessed the ability (according to Frankfurt's journals) to take over the bodies of others after performing some kind of sinister ritual.
