IC - The journey to the Middle-East

Something was found in the mountain of Megiddo or Armageddon as the Christians are calling the place. A group of scientist archaeologists, reporters are gathered and plan to head to the Middle East under the flag of the College University of London.
What are they going to find? What will find them?

The priest laugh
“But killing me will kill the priest and I will return to my body ... Oh... she was so right ... oh ... my dear Mary.”

ooc - I suggest you read the journals again and go over what happened for a reminder.

Another possesed soul... This is truly creepy

Spoiler:
Is this Mary hes talking about the same person Frankfort's wife Maria? If so would Rev make that assumption? If both answers are yes, go to the next spoiler :)

Spoiler:
'So shes the one pulling strings again is she...' 'No wonder she has to use these stupid fools to do her work' The Detective turns to the possessed priest slapping him open handed over the face 'hope you felt that your scum, and tell Your dear Mary that we will find her and her evil soul and bring her forth for earthly justice'

-Well, funny, we can beat him and make him suffer in good conscience but not too much, we don't want the poor priest feel sick when he returns to his body.

Hmmmm...
The priest is puzzled, apparently, he haven’t thought about being captured.
Take me to Cairo and I’ll say we are even.

Hey! detective!
Prof. Quibell jumps from his seat.
Is this necessary? Slapping Hickle like that?

What evil soul?
Arthur E. P. Brome Weigal say
What are you talking about detective?

-Ok, where is the body where the poor father is? AND WE WON'T SET YOU FREE! We don't want you trying to kill us again!

To the others in a very low voice:
-It's obviously a madman, so there is no point in trying to get a reasonable talk, just get in the spirit

'Dont mind' does the Detective say to no one in particular, but loud enough for all to hear. He glances over to Holst making a gesture of 'dont tell them more' and grabs the possessed man by his shit neck 'you are a crazy fool!'
He grabs Holst by his arm and takes him to a quiet corner
Spoiler:
'Sorry i lose my temper sometimes, but i dont think everyone on te plane has the mental capacity to glance into whats going on. You know the concepts of mass suggestion?, we dont want that contagious stuff going around at a aeroplane' 'we should work close together on what is going on with these people wanting us all dead' 'please fill me in whit what you have gathered so far dear college'

OOC - Short break!
I’ve been looking at the spoilers you wrote to each other and you messed some things up.
Maria (Known also as Mary) is Frankfurt’s wife, And not Anna like you wrote.

Anna is the medicine student that is on the plane. So do not confuse.
The “possessed” man speak about Mary – meaing, Frankfurt’s wife. So there is no other name over here. Just one – Maria (a.k.a Mary)

IC -

"We can tie him up in the back room in the rear, where the stuff is."

Spoiler:
Changed my post to reflect this. I agree frankfurt and this possessed priest is talking about a Maria and no Anna is involved.

Michael Rev takes the possessed man under his armpits forcing him to stand and help the tied up man into the rear cabin, making sure his properly tied up and locks the door behind him.

Fr. Dyer leans forward and looking intently at the "possessed" Catholic Priest being bound before him.

"Have a care there Detective, I have read in certain texts and inscriptions, though I myself am no epigrapher;" He steeples his fingers as he continues almost without pausing for breath;

"Yes, I have seen things that would indicate that these so-called demons are able to transfer their ... shall we say influence onto those who are in close proximity to their hosts. Not that we believe in such beings in this enlightened age of course, though we have seen some exceedingly strange things back at the house in Fulham; However a healthy caution and respect for any such entity would never go amiss don't you think. Belt and braces my son, belt and braces!" He looks down at his cassock and brushes off an imaginary piece of lint. Taking a deep breath he seems to have reached a decision within himself.

"I will tell you alll something of myself now, because I know we are all comrades in arms ... a phrase I happened to have gleaned from those poor souls from the trenches during during The Great War, and as a result we need to have a modicum of trust within our group. Now, whilst I do have some small knowledge of the rites of exorcism I am aware of the dangers that such a rite could inflict upon the possessed soul." A slightly puzzled frown creases his forhead as he continues moving his hands as he punctates his sermon at the appropriate points. Here is a practiced priest, at ease wioth his 'congretgation.'

"Do you think that the risk of such a rite can be outweighed by the advantages it would bring. The evil spirit, driven out of Father Hickle may well seek a new host in one of us ... are we prepared to take that chance? In the name of the Holy Spirit I must also tell you that such a demon may possibly shift itself without a ritual to force it out, so have a care my children. It is my belief we have not seen the last of this creature that may have moved from poor Professor Frankfort inside Father Hickle."

'Seems a good idea to me, the exorcism that is..' Michael Rev lights a cigarette 'but, it would have to be once we get to a safe place then thousands of meters over the earth, dont you think?' 'and is there any way to protect us from a body umping evil spirit like this seems to be?' 'necklace of garlic or something?'

The cleric smiles wolfishly and says;

"Hah! I dare say sellers of garlic bulbs would say 'yes this will protect you from all evils' but the reality is that you will need a bit more of a robust defence than a few herbs and spices. They are, of course tied deeply in mythology, both ancient and more modern, for instance Mr. Stokers romantic dramatisation of legends concerning vampires. Utter tosh if you ask me but then again....? For instance some doctor friends of mine tell me that they believe that there is something in herbs such as garlic that can help with certain diseases such as blood disorders, but that is beyond my ken and I remain sceptical.

"I would never consider, unless as last resort, doing any such rite on anything but terra firma. I would also do whatever I could to safeguard those connected with our group before even approaching such a decision. I will tell certain group members of any such plans of course, those who can be discrete." He nods knowingly towards the detective a look of faint disaproval on his face.

The priest looks troubled;

"I do hope that you do not intend to ... as you say interrogate ... the priest, remember that ... ah, the spirit within the fathers body is the driving force here. it may well ... ah .. shall I say withdraw slightly so that you are in fact interrogating an innocent man with little or no knowledge of his actions ... it is highly unlikely that you would cause any distress to the evil, yet could wind up harming an innocent,well respected man of the cloth. You are dealing with things you do not understand, I'm not sure any of us do, so I urge caution in case oyu actually make things worse than they are.
