The voyage takes 1 hour. Innsmouth is at north; it seems very near (about 8-12 miles), but the bus is so slow that you think you would go faster at foot. You leave the forest behind and enter in swamps with rare vegetation. Finally Innsmouth. It's a sad place: the houses are ruined, and few persons are in the street; it's still day. The bus stops; it's in a central square and the driver says:
-We have arrived at Innsmouth. All passengers must leave (you are the only passenger).

As William gets of the bus, a sense of freedom came over him, The fresh air was very welcome.

After streching a little, william looked round the town.

Looking for any place of significance, a library maybe, somewhere he could get hold of a map.

Then started thinking about this Obed Marsh, perhaps he could still be in town, In a Bar no doubt, unless hes working.
In which case he should be at the docks, unless he`s out at sea.

William realises it could take a while to find him, if ever.
He trains his thought onto other things, more important things. First he would need a bed, and a hot meal.

Setting off slowly walking round the square, Frank takes in his surroundings and also looks for anything that looks unusual.

You see and old statue in the middle of the square, of a XVIII soldier (war of the independence); it lacks the head, and is full of dirt. In front of you (west) is an hotel (Gilliam House Hotel), on the left the First national grocery, the Innsmouth Cafe, behind the the Elliot drugstore, Billingham'sw Seafood distribution Company, the Marsh Refining Company. On the right, several ruined mansions.
Everybody look at you with suspicion.

Wonder why there all staring at me? thought William, Cant get many visitors round these parts.

William Continues to look around.

Most people have the same aspect of the bus driver: big bulge eyes, a strange colour of the skin (some seem scally), and a hostile look. The few normal persons avoid you completly like if they were afraid.

William was a little cautious on his approach to the Diner, Trying to blend in as much as he could.

William decides to have something to eat, that is, If it is good enough to eat, He thought.
He then entered the cafe.

The place is dark and dirty, smeling at fish. Only 2 clients are inside, a man (in his 40's) and a young women are serving them. They all have the same look like the bus driver.
-Yes, stranger?- asks the man.

After looking around the Diner William had decided not to have anything to eat, The smell was terrible.

"Hello Sir william replied",Also greeting the young lady with a nod of the head.

"I dont suppose you could help me? Im looking for a captain Obed Marsh. Would you happen to know this man"?
William studys there Body language, To see if they give anything away.

What the hell happened to these people! William thought about ordering a drink of water, but decided against it.
It could be the water that has done this to these people.

William leaves the cafe, I`m not quite hungry enough to eat in there just yet he mumbles to himself.

william will then makes his way to the hotel.

The hotel... It must had been a big hotel in other times. Now he is semi-ruined. You enter. At least the man behind the desk has a normal look.

William smiles as he approaches the front desk, "Good day sir, I`d` like a room please?".

"Single will do fine, I would like to book for three days please, for now, If thats ok of course?".

William looks around the entrance and wondered what had happen`d to this town.

He looks at you for a long time, and then says:
-3 days? I think we can find something, we have been terrible busy latelly. 2 dollars for night, no food. You will stay in the third floor, room 13. Please, follow me.
He takes a key, and leave the bagage for you take. Near your room, you see two couples (normal look) who look very surprise to you.

"Good day", says william passing the couple in the hall.

William then turns and asks the man why everyone seems so surprised to see him?
"Do you get many people visiting this town"? He also asks.

William will also look around for a clock, to find out what time it is.

It's 2 pm.
-No, we don't receive much visits. Those 4, are members of a theater company, and they will have a show tonight.

"Really, what kind of show"? William asks, "What time will it start"?

William then decides to see his room.

The room is very decrepit. Broken window, bugs everywhere, some green fungus in the wall. But at least it has a bed.

William sets his stuff down on the bed and contemplates where he will visit next, Not wanting to spend as much time as possible in this disgusting room, How can a hotel in this state get very busy, He thinks.

After looking out of the window, William makes sure he has his gun with him, and all the cash he had on his person.
Then he made his way out of the Hotel.

OOC: Where do you want to go?

William will look at the statue in the square as he walks past it on his way to the pharmacy, Frank will buy some first aid equipment, before heading to the marsh refining company.

You buy some equipment and then arrive at the refinary. As soon as you get near, two men appear and ask:
-What do you want stranger?

"Hey guys", says william, "Im looking for a captain Obed Marsh, dont suppose you gentlemen could help me find him could you"?

They look at you astonished and then ask:
-Is this some kind of joke? The captain is dead for decades.

Oh im sorry, replies William.

William wonders if they were old enougth to have known the captain.

"Do you know of any family nearby, or friends"?

"I dont suppose you could point me in the right direction could you"?. Replies william.

After hearing a reply from the men, William will ask them for information on Captain Marsh and his treasure.

They look anoyed to you, but one says:
-Wait a minute, I will see if he can receive you.

Some minutes latter, one of the two man returns and askes:
-Mr Marsh want's to know what's your business?

"Could you tell him Im enquiring into something very important and that it involves Mr Obed Marsh",

Frank looks to the two mens faces, to see if they give anything away. If they panic at all Willaim will assure them he is not the law.

They are not in panic. One of them returns to the factory, and some minutes latter tell you:
-Follow me.
The factory is in a poor state. Holes in the roof, broken windows, dirt everywhere. In a office room (with no door), the man says:
-Boss, here is the stranger.
-Came in.

Wiliiam enters the room with caution, looks around, and then greets the Boss man.

You see a man... sort of. The fishy look that others have, is much more accentuate in him. And the stench is terrible.
-What's your business, stranger?

William trys to act as normal as possible while talking to to the weird looking fellow, trying his hardest to not breath the foul stench!

"My name is William Archer, I am looking for information on some strange jewellery found by the late Obed Marsh, I dont suppose you could help me out, could you"?

William scans the room trying to find anything out of the ordinary.

-Jewels? What jewells? We smiths gold here, not jewells.

Im sorry, says William.

I read an old news paper article about Mr Marsh and some jewellery found on some travel he took.

Would you happen to know of it?

"Yes i have seen a few in a museum in my home town"! Says William.

"I dont suppose you would let me see them, as i am very fascinated by such items"!

Willaim will also ask if the late Mr Marsh, kept some kind of journal.

"Well, I`m an archeologist". he says

"I have not seen such artwork before, and yet i have travelled far and wide".

"This is not uncommen however, They do not seem to be worth a lot of money, but i do find them fascinating".

"After this William will try to get any information about the artifacts, and about this island in the pacific".

You can't seem to read him.

-So, you work to an university? That mean you don't have money to buy them, right?

"Yes I do know of universitys that will pay good money for such artifacts".

"I dont happen to have a lot on me right now, But you would get your share for any help you could give me, in finding this island and more artifacts, the more help would mean a bigger percentage, Of course i would have to have something remarkable to get some really good money!

William will try to make the man more at ease by Relating to him,he seems to have a fondness of money.

-Is that so Mr? Well, about the island, the people from there was exterminated. But I remember now, we had some extra jewels... You could dinner at our home. And then I could show you some artefacts.

William feels a little warey about visiting the mans house, but agrees none the less, William then asks for a time and date.

-It can be this night. 8 pm Now if you dont' mind I have other business to atend.
