TRIXIE'S BAR AND GRILL

The Vikings have just begun settling the new world and have set their sights on Helluland. “The Land of Flat Stone” Can the ancient Eskimo inhabitants stop the Viking invasion or will the Vikings fulfill their prophecy and cover the flat rocks of Helluland in blood and steel.

Choose your side. Protect your people and intermingle with ancient Inuit creatures as Baffin Island is torn asunder by Viking steel and myth.

Choose your side. Join the invading Viking army and clear the way for Iceland’s settlers as Helluland’s native Inuit people and their gods are put to the sword and the axe.

THE VIKING / ESKIMO MIXER : BYOB

This is where we utter idle threats to each other and pave the way for a bloody character party vs character party meeting. Join in the mixer folks.

If an Eskimo's gotta get eaten: It might be the Eskimo with the least amount of posts in the Mixer!

If a Viking's gotta get eaten: It might be the viking with the least amount of posts in the Mixer!

Who knows though. I might just be screwing with you guys! I'll never tell.

Ha ha ha....The mixer....I love it!

So hear I am with six pack in hand....where is everyone ? Oh that's right...they're freezin' their asses off in their igloos. Or maybe my wolf dog scared 'em all away? But Imp's here....HI 5!

D, I'm gonna get a start on my character sheet and just email or pm it to you so that you can look it over. I'll just use a 20 side from here. Already named her...just have to add skills. Where do we look up spells and stuff? Found it on the dark ages character sheet that you put a link to in your other thread.

Say, anyone see "Pathfinder" the movie? It was pretty good (in my opinion). Lots of Vikings kicking ass and taking names.

There are going to be three viking ships leaving Iceland bound for Helluland (Baffin Island)

One ship has already been on the island for at least a week when the second ship arrives. A third viking long boat is at least a week behind the second. Each boat has at least 20 vikings on it.

There are several Inuit tribes on Baffin island. Total population unkown, but there are many. I have't figured out where yet, but the vikings won't know where to look when they first arrive. They will have to trust their wiccan advisors and viking trackers to lead them to the villages. Each viking boat will have one witch.

I'm so watching at lest one of those Eskimo flicks this weekend. Thanks for the tip.

After the weekend I'll be assigning homework. haha! Inuit stories for the Eskimos and Viking mythology for the Vikings. It won't be too harsh. 1 page at a time. If your really into the back ground of your chosen people I will be providing links as well.

How do you post the big pictures Welsh. I hav esome great scenery pics I'll be posting later that would look awesome like that.

yeah I loved that flick!

kinda the inspiration for the game but when I saw that they landed on Baffin first and there were giant Eskimos there, I just couldn't resist.

"Snu-snu" is a term that comes from Futurama. Their delivery space ship crash-landed on a primative planet ruled by huge Amazonian women - the leader, a fem-bot computer, ruled that all of the men visitors would be killed, death by snu-snu ... and though the men didn't like the idea of dying, they couldn't think of any better way to die.

That episode of Futurama is totally one of my favorites. Just took me a minute to recognize it.

You forgot to mention the skeletons with a crushed pelvis and smiles on their faces.

Any man would volunteer.....or well....maybe not...but funny :D
