New game - You decide!
Hi everyone,
with my Horror on the Glen one-shot having recently come to an end, I’m considering what to run next. I’ve got three in mind, so that’s where you come in.
The options under consideration are an investigation set in:
1. 19th Century America (Down Darker Trails)
2. 1930s Berlin
3. 1980s British Columbia, Canada.
All are published scenarios (as I’m already running one homebrew campaign - Bayou Blues) and I’m probably only going to run one new investigation at a time (probably).
So, which of those interests you? Let me know below (and if you’re interested in more than one, just state your order of preference).
Cheers

Re: New game - You decide!
TBH I'd be happy with any of the three. I'm up for anything.

Ok, thanks
Do you have one you’d prefer?

I'd be interested in all three of them too. The 1930s Berlin one sounds the most intriguing, followed by Down Darker Trails, and finally 1980s British Columbia.

I like the 1980s option, a more modern game sounds nice.

Re: New game - You decide!
Thanks, guys. I’ll see if we get any more responses then I’ll decide which one to run.
Re: New game - You decide!
Any would be great. No preference, I'm sure each would be fun.

Not sure whether I'd be able to play but just perusing I'd say my order in preference would be 3,2,1.

Duly noted! You’d be more than welcome to join in, if your schedule allows.
Re: New game - You decide!
I’m interested in playing! I’m new to the game system but have the book (and am working on reading it). I have played other rpg games in the past. I don’t have any preference on setting, I’m just excited to have a chance to play an rpg as a player. Let me know if I’m able to join.

Thanks, BoyBlunder!
Lost_King - you’re more than welcome to join in
I’m leaning towards the 1980s so we’ll be playing The Pipeline, a survivalist horror scenario set in British Columbia.
Mr Handy, can you please set up the board.
Title: The Pipeline
Description: October 1986. Contact with Exxon Pumping Station #31 in British Columbia has been lost and a rescue team has been assembled.
The environmental activist group, North Wind, had threatened to bring operations to a halt. Could they be behind this sudden communication failure, or is something else going on?

Re: New game - You decide!
Do you use standard character creation rules, or optional rules (e.g. point buy abilities, quick fire method, etc.)? Do you allow the occupations in the investigator handbook, or only the keeper’s rulebook options? Where would I find an equipment list for the 1980’s like the one in the back of the book, or should I do my own research?

Hi kabukiman, we haven’t started yet so you’re welcome to join.
Lost_King - because of the nature of the scenario, I’d planned to use the pre-gens, but I’ll post them in the forum later and we can chat about it.
Mr Handy - thanks for sorting out the forum

Re: New game - You decide!
Ooh, that's quite a lot. I'm fairly busy at the moment so maybe I'll give it a pass but if numbers drop low then I'd be happy to take part.
