Boston central train station

Before there was Delta Green there was a small organization tasked with investigating the most morbid and vile happenings lurking just bellow the veneer of society. Specially chosen and skilled investigators join forces in a race to solve or cover up these events before it takes its toll on their Sanity. Investigators from a variety of backgrounds will need all the help they can get from their mysterious and international benefactors who always know more than they let on and never let slip their full intentions. It's pre-WW2 but the war of the Mythos is just beginning.

After receiving the letter, Bill collects the possessions he will need for an investigation out of town and loads them into his car. After driving the streets looking in the usual places he finds Albert at St. Mary’s taking shelter from the rain, 'Got a job for us. Out of town. You in?'

Driving from Washington to Boston takes the rest of the night and some of the following day. They stop off in Philadelphia and New York for a stretch, fuel, and refreshments. Bill tries to find a gift for his daughter's birthday in the depressing roadside shacks that serve the travelling public but nothing fits the bill, 'She's gonna kill me.'

Despite the incessant barrage of questions from the teenage boy about what they'll be doing in Boston, Bill says almost nothing the whole journey. Just chain smoking his Lucky Strikes.

They arrive at Boston Central Station tired and grubby from the long journey. 'This is Bureau business, keep quiet and let me do the talking.' Bill looks even more bent and haggard than usual as he slowly shuffles into the station concourse and approaches the front desk.

Lt. Commander Ralph Harper has driven up to Boston, wanting to have his car available there in case he needs it. He approaches the front desk. "Hi, I'm Ralph Harper," he says. "I was told there's a package for me."

Sorry! Left napping at the starting blocks.

Albert is still brimming with excitement after the thrilling car journey and he bounces along next to Bill, looking at everything.
At the desk he waits while Bill gets his package, he watches the busy people walking past and checks in his coat pocket for the 50th time that his comics are still there; remember ing the quick dash into the church to get them before jumping into the warm, dry luxury of Bill’s car.

Rachel stepped purposefully across the concourse, her heels clicking on tiled floor. She glanced again at the note she’d been given, wondering once again why she’d been sent - she never usually got the chance to leave the office.

Approaching the desk, she said to the receptionist, ”You have something for me?” She thrust the note across the counter so the receptionist could read it.

All characters know the basic layout of the station after having visited.

You get a good look at a map of the station. While jealously guarding your comics you are relieved that nobody is paying you or Bill any special attention

Bill strolls nonchalantly over to the lockers and opens his up. On the way he whispers to Albert, 'Keep an eye out for anyone watching us.'

He pulls out the key, 'Royal Palm Hotel Albert, anybody made us or looking suspicious?'

Are we all getting keys and opening lockers at the same time or spaced apart? Would Albert or Bill notice the others?

You aren't aware of any other potential agents doing the same thing you are nor do you notice anyone paying special attention to you. Albert is in a good position to keep a lookout.

Rachel looked at the address and sighed grumpily. She was going to have to get wet. She’d brought an umbrella but the rain was heavy outside.
