The one previously identified as the Sayer of the Law rallies the others toward the submarine, displaying what is obviously more leadership than the rest possess. As the security guards and the beast-men continue to board the vessel, the SEALs advance to where the rest of the investigators face the two physicians, who themselves are locked in a struggle.
Neither one is able to overcome the other, as they bounce off the walls of the visiting area, alternately gasping for breath and hurling insults. The heavily armed SEALs shout at them to freeze, but to no avail. Use of firearms in a small, enclosed area could pose a problem, so it's down to hand-to-hand combat. A pair of the SEALs hurl themselves at the two doctors.
The short, round doctor is easily captured. Since he does not seem to pose any real threat, he is allowed to stand in a corner of the room. Lota comes up to him, points at Tony, and says "Lota want him. You give to Lota?"
Disregarding this entreaty, the doctor mumbles, mostly to himself, "What will become of them? What will become of my island? I should be on board with them!"
Meanwhile, the tall, thin doctor, who appears to be as slippery as an eel, in engaged in an indeterminate struggle with the other SEAL.
