Mitchell looks up and is relieved to see Dave is okay.

"Nope. I don't see or hear nothing." He looks around at all the others on the roof. "Can I get a gun from anyone?"

"Shut up!" Gary hisses at the boys yelling across the roof. He will go to an unoccupied side and take a look around.

Dave looks back to Samantha with short stare, "..Aren't you cop or something, don't you have some job taking care of situation at diner down there...Those goons will come back once they are done with boss Earl boss."
"We need to be on move right now..."

Samantha gives Dave a scathing look.
"Why should I help the owners of the diner? They are obviously crooks or something and have brought the trouble with the skinheads on themselves. And no I'm not a cop; I'm a park ranger and I prefer to help animals over generally useless humans."
She relents a little.
"If you want to go down there I'll cover you." She is holding a rifle and has a shotgun slung over her shoulder.

Dave lean forward while sitting in position "Well, I do not dislike "person" in particular but you may be right. I was talking about others as well who are stuck there...but as you said you not helping out and we are not having any means to get help...". "we are sitting ducks here" says with a big sigh.
"I would surely get down if I can borrow of one of the guns", dave points towards the rifle.

"Don't you dare go down there Dave. Didn't you see everyone getting killed?"

"Are you a crack shot?" Samantha looks at Dave disbelievIngly. "If you are, I might lend you the shotgun in a pinch but this baby is set up for me and me alone." She pats the rifle.
"There's a lot of people in the diner and probably in the motel too but everyone's keeping low I guess: it's very quiet." She frowns.

On the roof of the garage-
All was quiet as Dave and Samantha conversed.

On the roof of the diner-
Gary made his way to the west side of the roof. From there, he could see the skinheads' pickup truck on the dirt road. About ten yards past it was a dead skinhead, and there was another one a short distance north of it by the side of the road, the bodies riddled with bullets and motionless. All was quiet.

"We can't stay up here forever," said Kimberly. "Sooner or later, we'll need water and food."

"Don't worry, Mitchell, This ain't our gig, I know.
"you just stay alert."
Dave takes lead on Samantha's offer, "you know we have to move one way or another, it's just matter of time now."
Dave again scans the garage front..
"What if those skinheads waiting in on backup from their base, and yes if you haven't noticed already, there are dead bodies getting back to life around this junkyard."

Jimmy calls out fairly hushed "Think theres three down there in the diner, can't tell how friendly they are though", he waves 3 fingers and points down to those further away to avoid shouting.

"We can't stay up here forever," said Kimberly. "Sooner or later, we'll need water and food."

"You're right. Maybe we should make some noise and lure them out of the diner and then try to kill them. Then once they are dead, we can try to find somewhere safer." Jim says quietly.

"I can't do shit without a gun." Mitchell says glumly and sits down on the roof, rubbing his temples.

Dave saw nothing moving in the junkyard, or anywhere else out there for that matter.

"I'm not sure I can kill somebody in cold blood, you know. Not just like that." Says Samantha at Gary's suggestion.

I'm not talking about the people. I'm talking about the zombies that got up from the dead and ate the Preacher." Gary pauses for a moment. "It's so quiet down there. I wonder what happened to all the people. They couldn't have all been killed. They must be holed up somewhere."

Mitchell/Gary,The dead skinheads could have weapons and ammo on them. They wouldn't have anything bigger than knives or pistols, or they'd be visible, but that would be better than nothing. Of course, someone would have to go down there to search them and retrieve anything of use. The ladder could be lowered from the west side of the roof to minimize the distance, but they were still fifty plus yards away. There also could be some larger weapons in the diner's entrance, though there was no telling what was going on inside the place.

Samantha is still rather confused about this talk of zombies having not seen any as yet.
"Weell, okay but you'll have to point them out; I've never seen a zombie before as I don't watch TV." She says to Gary.
