4:00pm - Tuesday 22nd March, 1921 The lands of Eliza's family ranch - Rancho con Vistas al Lago - sprawl over around 300 acres overlooking Lake Titicaca, about three miles of the south of Puno, tucked beneath a sharp rise up to the highland peaks where the ancient ruins are located.
The old truck rocks violently as Maicu drives along the rutted track through the middle of the farmlands, to where the elegant 19th Century Hacienda sits. The farmhouse buildings are nestled around a central garden, dominated by a large tree, with the rest of the garden enclosed by a low wall. A large stable and the horse corral sit outside the walled complex and the farmhouse is overlooked by a small wooded hill. Eliza has already told the investigators that she and her children were held in the smaller house, closest to the tree lined hill.
In the fields nearby herds of alpaca wander lazily clumps of grass - a few horses and a llama can be seen out in the corral, but no humans are visible.
OOC: No kharisiri visible either. The "smaller house" is central in the photo of the ranch. This outbuilding is where Eliza, her husband and their children lived prior to the kharisiri attack. Her parents, brother and grandfather lived in the larger building. The kharisiri plan was for Eliza to lead you all into the cellars of the larger building later tonight, to be captured. There is always at least one kharisiri in the smaller building with baby Julio, sometimes two or three, especially when Eliza is home. Other than that, any kharisiri present will normally be in the larger building. |
