After a while he stops in the middle of nowhere. You don't see anything special about the place.
"Now we wait here. My cousin should be here in some hours. Just awake me if anyone appears"

"Must be nice to be able to fall asleep just like that," says Paula. She keeps an eye on their surroundings for anyone approaching.

2 Hours latter, you see something coming. Then as it get closer, you see it's an old pickupt truck, a toyota hilux, an old model with 2 doors.
As soon as you call Youssef, open his eyes and then says:
"It's my cousin!"
The pickupt stops near you and a man in his late 40's and a kid get out. They all embrace themselves and start speaking in arab
(roll arab to understand what they are saying).

Paulus looks up from his book dusting himself off as he gets to his feet, but he's not really paying attention. He gestures for Paula to step back somewhat behind them.

"We don't want to offend the locals" he adds with a wink. He then turns to the locals with a loud "marHaban" and an outstretched hand "As-salaam ‘alaykum, qad la yakun mateabana, qad fann wafannanin alkhass bik sayakun jayidaan hayat tawilat lak"

OOC:   Basically "Welcome. Peace be with you, may you not be tired, I hope your family is well and finally a long life to you. It's a pretty traditional long form greeting in many Arab countries. You kind of want a long form response where he responds in kind. As traditionally this puts things on a friendly basis,

Paula stands well back. She can see over the others' heads just fine, anyway.

They look at you and smile and greet you.
Then they start unloading from the truck food, specially fruits. After it seems empty, they open a secret compartment, and you see weapons. Ak-47 (4), Ak-74 (2), Ak-103 (1), 4 makarov, 1Yarygin PYa, 4 RGD5, 1 RPG-7 (and ammo).
So, what do you thing of our cargo? You couldn't dream with better! This is only to special clients!

"Thank you, they're certainly high quality merchandise," says Paula. "How much are you asking for them?" She is sure he'll mark up the prices, but she also knows that haggling is part of the culture here. She just wishes she were any good at it.

Paulus puts the two AK-74's aside for the moment, they use a different calibre round than the other assault rifles. He then starts to examine the Ak-47's stripping each in turn examining it for wear and quality making sure they fit together well and have been maintained well.

"We are living in terrible times. With the chaos, all those terrorist, and I have to pay bribes to the army. I don't get any profit, it's only because it's tradition in the family. Selling antiques, now that is a good career. So, as I was saying, if I sell you the Ak-47 for 700$, AK-74 for 800, the Ak-103 for 103, I will only pay the gas and the breakfast we had this morning. The RPG-7 is to a symbolic price: 2500$. For 400 for each makarov, I'm doing selling because you are friends of my cousin; and the Yarigyn is a cheap bargain for 600$. The ammo is extra of course."

The men seems in very distress and that you are forcing him to do something he doesn't want.

OOC:   How much do we have available to spend and what weapons will we each be carrying. Judging by this vast arsenal, we are either going up against a bunch of enemies and possible mythos creatures, or its all a cruel ploy to make us think we'll be prepared when in fact the weapons will be utterly useless against what lies ahead.

Paulus looks at the three AK-47's "These three are tired old guns, good for a goat herd guarding his flock, adequate for our needs out in the el Beyda to keep the jakals from our camp I could unburden you of their care and give you $1500 as a gesture of our friendship"

Paula tries to get the reluctant arms dealer to come down a little on his prices, but he won't budge for her. "I can't quite afford both an AK-47 and a Makarov," she tells her friends. "Maybe one of you can get him to bring his prices down. Otherwise, I'll buy the AK-47, at least. Then we can pool our remaining money. We should still be able to buy an AK for each of us and a couple of Makarovs even at these prices, but one of us would be without a pistol."

Agent Parker, being a quiet man with little skill in the art of speechcraft, attempts to engage the men in amiable conversation in order to convince them of a bargian. Nonetheless, it proves a foolhardy endeaver.

OOC:   OK lets pool cash, we can get two AK-47's, 3x Makarov's and still have cash for ammo....or we could just acquire the Makarovs now and ask him to come back later should we discover we need something a bit more punchy.
