My cards are downstairs, but re. Banishment Spell, it banishes a monster on the Gate nearest to you, which for Diana is Buenos Aires. The Mi-go is worth fighting rather than banishing because when defeated it drops an Artifact.

Oh, I am miss reading stuff all day.

@DSIGFUSS, @Everyone, quick summary: we're doing well! The AO, Syzygy, requires 2 Mystery cards solved before we flip the AO sheet and do something--I don't know yet--to win. We've solved 1 Mystery and Norman, single handed, is solving the 2nd (4 Relics need be flipped, 1 flipped and Norman possesses 2 more). What we need do is to encounter Clues, so Diana should Travel back to The Amazon.

Once I saw which scene it was, I remembered the line. Skip? I watched the whole thing! And it was great to see that it was the original version. Han shot first!

I should Travel to 17 to try for the new Clue there. That leaves me another Action to Acquire Assets first. I really want that Lodge Researcher. Combined with my Handcuffs, special ability, and Task, that really benefits me when I defeat monsters.

Omen advanced to blue constellation. Doom advances 2 (11 down to 9)--that's Gates at London and Buenos Aires.

Turn 8, Mythos Phase

Advance the Omen: green comet. Doom advances 1 (9 down to 8).



We don't want this, if Omen advances to blue that's a further 2 Doom! What I've done is take 1 Clue off Diana and 1 Sanity off Norman--now, Quatermass and DSIGFUSS, shout if you disagree.

I think we need close the Buenos Aires Gate, otherwise Doom may get out of control. How about Diana Travel to Buenos Aires, Marie use Bone Pipes vs. Mi-go; and then Diana defeating Mi-go (gain 1 Artifact) and close Gate?

I'd also forgotten to mention why Jacqueline Bauer is familiar. She was the South African Syndicate Agent that joined forces with Lily Chen in our previous run of Eldritch Horror.

After Marie uses the Bone Pipes to weaken the Mi-Go she can spend two more Actions to get to Arkham, so that next turn she can finish off the Spinner.

Does anyone want to be Lead Investigator? I'll take it if nobody else wants it.

Yes, I'll do as you say, Mr. Handy. And yes, be the Lead Investigator, there could be a nasty Mythos card and Norman is too valuable to risk.

I'm nothing if not expendable! Besides, I'm still in reasonably good shape and able to handle a lot of things. It might be a good idea to move Norman away from the Hunting Horror, in case there's a Reckoning. If he moves onto space 17, I can encounter it instead of him, and he can try for the Clue if I fail to get it.

Marie will go for an Arkham Encounter, Tony a Research Encounter, and Diana vs. Mi-go and then a Gate Encounter.

Thanks for posting the last one for me Tabs. I've been crazy distracted the last few days. I'll put in some flavor text on Tuesday. I posted my rolls for Wither and blasting that Mi-Go into the dark ages.

I guess a Gate Encounter is next.

You need to roll versus the sanity loss when fighting the Mi-Go.

I've rolled on Diana's behalf for the Horror test, got a 3 on the roll, she's down to 3 Sanity. But she exploded the Mi-go and it dropped this:
