Cinemaplex Car Park

[ODIOUS]

Thomas pops the trunk and grabs the gas can the emergency roadside kit. He quickly grabs a flare and ignites it throwing it inside the converitble he is parked next to. "Lets go Jennifer and we better be quick". He starts runnig towards the theare hoping the flare will buy them some time. Hoping it will cause the distraction the need.

[Laraqua]

Flickering shapes dart above. There is a screech as something sizzles. The upholstery catches alight. The flames leap higher. More things dart down. The fire itself sizzles, kept low by the smothering affect of the ash. Jennifer and Thomas run for the doors. Those on the inside can glimpse a glow on the outside.

[Mr. Handy]

"Great Scott!" exclaims Lionel when he sees the glow from the flare. He moves closer to the doors so he can be at hand if Jennifer and Thomas need help.

[Seppuku]

Mark peeks around the corner out into the darkness watching the pale flicker. He stays back from windows the since he still hears gunfire.

[ODIOUS]

Thomas can't make out the lights of the lobby. He glances over his left shoulder to check on Jennifer.

[Laraqua]

Jennifer walks backwards, stumbling over her own feet as the rifle points towards the sky. She trips, bangs into him, recovers her balance, and keeps moving.

Those in the Cinemaplex can't see outside and those outside can't see in because the cinema lobby's lights are off.

The first step meets Thomas' foot earlier than expected.

[ODIOUS]

Thomas loses his footing on the first step. He lands solidly on his back. The engineers kit strikes him sharply in his left kidney. He lets out a small grunt.

[Laraqua]

Jennifer swears and gently kicks him. "Hurry!"

A creature roars in the not-so-far-away.

[ODIOUS]

Thomas leaps up and heads up the stairs. He grabs the lobby door and yanks it open Jennifer rushs in the door right after him. He pulls the door quickly closed. He looks around and, "yells at everyone to get away from the windows. Here's the gas Lionel lets get those bodys burned but I need a sec I took a nasty fall out there."

[Mr. Handy]

Lionel leads Thomas away from the doors and windows. "I'll have a look at you," he says. He turns to the man with the gun. "Stand ready in case anything tries to get inside."

[ODIOUS]

Thomas sets down the gas can and,lets Lionel examine him and also asks him to rebandage the dog wound properly.

[Mr. Handy]

Lionel examines Thomas's injuries and gets to work. "I did quite a good job of bandaging your bite wound the first time," he says, "but I'll redress it if you like."

[ODIOUS]

Thomas is feeling a little dizzy and very thirsty. He asks if anyone has something to drink, The urge to drink is powerfull. He sits down aand, crosses his legs for a moment waiting for the dizziness to go away.

[Mr. Handy]

"Can someone here bring this man a drink from the bar?" asks Lionel as he works on Thomas's injuries. "He looks a little dehydrated. Make sure it was in a sealed container." He turns to Thomas. "Would you like a soda, or something a little harder?"

[ODIOUS]

Thomas replys to Lionel water but pop will do please. He is still feeling a little dizzy so he remaims seated.

[Mr. Handy]

"Some water or soda from the bar, please," says Lionel to Jennifer. He returns his attention to Thomas. "Probably best to avoid alcohol anyway, since you're dehydrated."

[Laraqua]

Jennifer does what she's told and returns with a drink in a large cup.

[Mr. Handy]

"Thank you," says Lionel. He hands the cup to Thomas.

[Seppuku]

Mark walks over to the group. "So what have we accomplished here guys? I got some stuff that you may want Jennifer."
Mark says as he unzips his bag. He pulls out the blueprint, and the laptop. Then he places them on the bar in a dry area.

[Mr. Handy]

"Thomas retrieved his gun and some gasoline from his car," says Lionel. "As soon as he's ready we'll burn the bodies. I suggest those with weapons cover us, just in case they don't stay dead. Once that's done, we'll make a run for the superstore next door."
