Hammond turns on her heal ignoring the fact that a zombie nurse just vanished in front of her eyes. She turns to the children's ward and start taking a mental stock of everything and everyone. "Jill you look horrible. You should lie down and rest for a bit. Let me check you out. Alright kids Sarah is going to be back very soon with help. Here's what we are going to do. Anyone who is able start moving beds out into the hallway. If your not strong enough then help someone else. The only way we are going to get out of here together is if we work together. Any questions?" Hammond helps Jill to a bed and quickly checks her for a fever and signs of infection before moving children out.

Jason enters the Children's Ward as it had been before. As Hammond tucks Jill up in bed, she feels a cold wind blow against her legs. Jason blinks as Hammond straightens, and the two find each and every still-living child standing beside their beds. The beds that contained the dead now have different children beside them - their faces hidden in gloom, their hair and clothing slick with water. Some of the children's clothing seem a bit peculiar.

"Uhm, guys, I think we might have a problem..." Jason whispers back to the others "There are new kids wearing clothing all the way back to the Victorian age..."

"Get the other kids out, now." he adds as he himself instead continues towards the source of the singing.

The song seems to be coming from all around him.
That little metal cage he will prise,
And yet somehow suddenly it fits my size,
Think, little maiden, how everyone dies.
The children merely stand and watch.

Instinctively Jason's hand moves to his salvaged screwdriver while holding the flashlight in his left hand. He pivots around, trying to get a full view of everything to make sure nothing sneaks up on him while still trying to pinpoint the origin of the voice.

Hammond's face turns a little pale as she turns around from Jill and really sees the children for the first time. Being a nurse in the ward she knows which children should be there. She grabs the bed Jill is on and rolls it to the hallway. "Jason is right children. Everyone follow me. I don't know if they can hurt us or not, but I'm not taking any chances." After Hammond rolls Jill into the hall she goes back for any children that don't follow, avoiding the children that don't belong.

Dahlia's skin feels like it's crawling. What was going on? She sees Jill get pushed out the door of the ward and Oliver follow, Charlie toddling after. She peeks around the side of the nurse's station at Jason in the room, and shudders.

"Nurse Hammond? Nurse Hammond?" she whispers, wanting to be very quiet just in case. "Um.....where are you gonna take them? I might come too...."

Nurse Hammond smiles a sad smile at Dahlia. "I can't go anywhere yet sweetie. I still have more children to move. If we can do it I think we should start up the ramp to the helicopter. I want to see how many beds we have to push, and how many people can walk. Could you watch the little ones and Jill while I go back in and bring more people out?" Nurse Hammond looks around the hallway to make sure everything is still clear, and glances at the stairs. "I sure hope Sarah and Adian get back soon. We could use their help."

"Mmmm, ok" Dahlia says, and takes little Charlie by the hand. "Are you gonna be my buddy again, Charlie?" she asks him, and shows him Middles, who has fallen asleep in her arms.

She looks at Jill, who has now fallen into a deep sleep, and feels jealous that she isn't doing the same. But I'd never let the kids get separated...so unless someone helps me keep them altogether, I can't rest at all. Dahlia is unsure if Jason heard or understood what she was saying in the other room. She has a sinking feeling that she's the only one she can count on to figure out this puzzle. She stretches her neck out for a minute to see what's going on in the other room. Those kids are REALLY freaky....and any minute they might get even weirder.

For now, Dahlia has the overwhelming temptation to get on the helicopter and watch the hospital grow farther and farther away.......

Hammond finds the eleven children she had come to retrieve standing in position by their bed much as the other children do.

Hammond examines the children without touching them trying to figure out if they are saveable.

The children are breathing, their faces lowered, their eyes rolled up in their skull so that it were mostly the whites showing.

Dahlia's trembling hands seem to move aside a little of their own accord, and the photo album flops open across them, showing photographs of dozens of ghostly translucent children, wet and in different styles of fashion, standing around in circles in the circular depression of a circular room carved from blue rock. The carvings on the walls are blurred and make her head spin when she tries to look at them. There were five small holes in the middle of the floor.

The markings from a pentagram perhaps? Dahlia can't quite figure out the small holes....they could be the points....or er....

Dahlia places the sleeping Middles on the foot of Jill's bed, and puts her blanket over him. Then she bends down to inspect the picture closely. Then she turns to the other page to see if there is any handwriting in reference to the children in wet clothing.

Hammond pulls two of the children from the room dragging them if she has to. Once she gets them into the hall, if they haven't snapped out of it, Hammond will slap them gentley on the face to try to bring them out of it.

BRIANNA: The ink on the next page has run down the pages, hopelessly staining them. The photographs all have the same transparent child's face looming large in the camera, from a face shot, to the lower part of the face, to an opened toothless mouth. Lurking in the darkness in the background is a man and a small girl who grope around in the darkness. For a moment, she feels she can almost see them moving. It is only then, that she realises the photo album is now sodden with water.

HAMMOND: She must drag the two children out for they keep their legs stiff beneath them. Once they are out of the Children's Ward, she goes to gently slap them, but her arm is stayed by the two children's left hands. They raise their heads to regard her, their eyes still rolled up to show the whites.

JASON: He takes hold of one child and drags him out, despite his stiffened legs. The child stands where he is placed, much as a statue would.

Hammond decides that she won't make a differance in the children right now standing here. She runs back into the room and grabs another child and runs out repeating this process until all of the children origianlly from that room are out. During this time she is constantly keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.
