TRIXIE'S BAR AND GRILL

The Vikings have just begun settling the new world and have set their sights on Helluland. “The Land of Flat Stone” Can the ancient Eskimo inhabitants stop the Viking invasion or will the Vikings fulfill their prophecy and cover the flat rocks of Helluland in blood and steel.

Choose your side. Protect your people and intermingle with ancient Inuit creatures as Baffin Island is torn asunder by Viking steel and myth.

Choose your side. Join the invading Viking army and clear the way for Iceland’s settlers as Helluland’s native Inuit people and their gods are put to the sword and the axe.

Hey guys!

If you haven't already read the pm I sent everyone, I am starting my summer hourse at work and will be pretty much humped for posting.

For those of you just joining the game. This is an inevitable part of the Helluland cycle that comes with my job as Mad raspberry scientist!! We'll get you gutting arctic animals again by the end of August.

Please stick around and posting will return to normal. (weekly) I may throw in a few posts when I get the itch and feel motivated and not like an overworked zombie. I'll pm you when there is an update to your thread during the summer.

Have a wicked summer people!!!!

Life's grand Imp...although the kids are out soon and my freedom will be clipped. Ugh

Stout...yum! Saturday we were at a brewery in Vancouver, they offer a sampler pack of little beers so you can try each one but seems I'm the only one at the table that fancied the dark beers. Nothing like a good Guiness

LOL when I say that in my brain it sounds like cookie monster! hehe! That takes me back!

Congrats Imp! Grad from high school, right? What are his plans post grad....going onto university? Hopefully he follows in ol' pop's footsteps and gets a perfectly irreplaceable job like yours? Although I do believe after you moved I never got the new skinny on what you're doing for work. Last I heard you were monitoring space shuttles. Right? Riiiiight.....???

Heh, no... that was my old job. My current job is making Frankenstein Monsters.

My kid is going to be heading to the local community college for 2 years for a drafting degree, then decide where to go after he figures out what part of drafting as a whole he likes the best.

Thanks for the congrats, but I think much of that goes to his mother who was constantly harping on him to do his homework.

Frankenstein monsters??? Oh doooo go on!

If your wife has any tricks up her sleeve regarding the homework situation...I'm all ears. I'm hearing the 'this is the worst day ever' bit when I prescribe the unwelcome math sheet or reading assignment. Arg! If only we could be all futuristic and have one of those fancy robot butlers and maids like they had in the Jetsons. hehe!

Our son was rewarded monetarily for good grades (B or better) and penalized (D or worse) on his report card. That seemed to work pretty good. His school has Edline, which all of the teachers must keep up to date (relatively speaking) indicating how he has done recently on tests, quizzes, classroom attendance and participation, and homework. Anytime the teachers added something, we'd get an email indicating the change in that class. We'd go take a look-see, then if we noticed there were missing homework projects, Kelly would get the harping task. He wasn't always prompt with his homework, but he would get them all done (eventually)

What a strange coincidence. I graduated this year too.

Opps, I gave it away. =S

I'll be gone for a while. Moving and getting a job. Have fun, guys and Trixie.

ok!! Ok!! You guys are right! I'm a big fat liar!!! But aren't all GMs in some way. So now I have to make up for my lie. Here is what I propose. If everyone doesn't get a post before 8am Eastern Standard Time September 1st. Everyone gets one free stat point to add to any attribute. But mark my words! blah blah! Eat a potatoe!

I happen to like potatoes. But you might find one shoved up the tailpipe of your car if you offer free stat points and don't follow through. Gggrrrrrr I hate bein teased! How about a free stat point considering we all so patiently waited during your summer 'hell'.....like working 14 hours a day counts.....pffft
