Oh this Cynthia thing is such a lure. 8)
i don't think Leroy and co are wrapped up, apart from pianoman maybe and his jedi cloak. now we're outside i guess we're stuffed.
the last time i remember getting skill points was when we were still sealed in the dispencery.

Re: Chit-Chat
There was a second lot. I think I didn't give it to y'all coz you were in the middle of something and I was gonna award if after that somethin' got solved. Okay, so could Paradys, Impintraining and Mr.Handy check their character sheets? You should have gotten over seven skill points awarded (all except Impintraining who missed the first round of exp). If not, I'm deeply sorry. All three of your characters got about five skill points from the second round of exp-handing-out.
Is it bad that I listen to this about ten times a day?

laraqua wrote: Skill points ... well, I forgot when I last threw out skill points at everyone. I think I've assigned them twice. Problem is that it's hard to keep track of when I did it last, etc. Not sure how to work that one out.
Just put the challenge out there, and whomever earns it amends their skill sheet in red. You've already made it clear that we should keep up with our own skill sheets, amending sanity etc. I put the ones I've changed in red so that you know it was me that did it and not you. If they're all kept to the same color, it should keep it simple.
If we earn a Skill Point Challenge thrown out there, we add whatever it is to our character sheet in RED. What'dya say???

Re: Chit-Chat
Yes, I got 4 skill points to distribute last time, about a month ago maybe... if that.
-8 degrees celcius? Geez... that's hellacold. I thought it was just in the hospital where the temperature was dropping since in only seemed to be effecting the ground floor the most.

Re: Chit-Chat
Leroys had 3 skill points so far, so he gets 4 or 5 more?
as far as the cold goes I forgot that imp has the coat we got from the lockers and i was going to mention those silver blankets too, but it looks like imps found them. i think they use them to stop patients in shock shivering.
should be useful when cynthia tries to bite leroys face off.

Re: Chit-Chat
The Winter's Howl handled extreme cold by imposing incresing skill penalties for failed rolls (it started at -10% and got worse from there, but it was a lot colder in that game). Prolonged exposure to cold will result in hypothermia and probably hit point loss eventually. I believe Beyond the Mountains of Madness has rules for dealing with the cold, but I haven't read that one. Sarah has her nice warm coat on, which is a good thing since her Con is only average.
In the Hospital Car Park thread (Sarah's original thread), it was established what was in the ambulance. There were two of those silver blankets. Paul (the priest) is wearing one of them. The other had been used as a curtain to keep the ash out. I'm not sure if they would still be there, as the people in the ambulance would no doubt have taken them and they've fallen behind (their thread still has them in the ambulance). There was a built-in heater in the ambulance, but the controls weren't responding earlier when Sarah tried them. If there had been a portable heater in the back, Geoff would have known about it and there would have been no reason for Sarah to go into the cab.
Skill points were given out twice for most groups in the hospital. Sarah received 5 while in the ambulance (plus the 2 bonus points). When she, Leroy, and Joel met up with the others outside the Children's Ward, each of them got 4 more points. Those in the cinemaplex only got skill points once (Lionel picked up 5, plus the 2 bonus points).

Sarah feels safe enough to ride in the chopper, and she already volunteered to go with them.

Re: Chit-Chat
Hello everyone. I'm just posting here to let everyone know that I will be leaving the site for now. I'm hoping to be back in four to six weeks. I have already asked Laraqua to NPC Louie for me. So I hope to talk to you all some time soon.

See you around Piano man!
If anyone gets to cut Louie in half with a fire axe, it'll probably be Leroy. He's even got that hit in reserve.
