Chit-Chat

Listen. Sometimes it hurts to let it all slip away. Sometimes it's easier just to die. But how can we do that when we know that she's out there? Waiting for me. Waiting for all of us. If you would only find her, maybe we could finally rest.

That was quite a post-a-thon! Trixie just passed my post count overnight, I noticed. I've caught up now, but my slight lead won't hold even though I'm now on vacation and can post at any time during the day.

I loved London too, by the way. I went there once seven years ago, and I'm planning to visit again next year. Never been to Vancouver, but I'd like to see it too someday.

I've been a fan of British comedy and science fiction for a long time. I started watching Doctor Who when Tom Baker was still playing the Doctor (yes, I was seven). I've seen most of the original Doctor Who episodes, but they haven't been aired for years now. I like the new Doctor Who too, but I like the original better. I'm also a huge Red Dwarf fan, and I watched the first eight series when they aired on PBS. They haven't been on for a while, either, though. British humor is definitely an acquired taste. Fortunately, I acquired it at an early age.

Yeah, me too. I can remember when I was 12 staying up late and tuning the TV to some obscure UHF channel that was all fuzzy ... just to watch Benny Hill.

'Bows'

Yes sorry, I went a little nuts but it's my week off. Next week when I'm back to work and school's in, I won't be able to keep up to y'all. So I figured I'd better enjoy it now.

Funny that I just caught up to two guys who started in 2006 though.... 8)

And what's the deal with Red Dwarf? I'm just not a fan. Give me British comedy sure, but Fawlty Towers and Monty Python RULE in comparison to Red Dwarf.

Now I'm just stirring the pot...ha ha ha

Hey dancing keeper in the fancy pants.....any chance we can earn us some extra sanity points?

I have a feeling we'll all be needing them...either that or some skill points. Been a while since you've thrown a challenge our way. And I'm not talking a drinking/partying challenge like dsigfuss threw at us either.....

So I made a game...now I just need players... Oh it's For All Flesh Must Be Eaten. A link to the basic Rulebook is on the forums under character creation. If you have a myspace I would love to have zombies devour your flesh.

its so wild that people in america like Benny Hill. that comedys so creaky man! i've heard that hes really popular among gangsta rappers, although if you've ever seen an ice cube video that actually makes sense..ice cube shouldn't bother with any music and should just run around chasing a little bald man in fast motion.

Oh believe me... you're preaching to the choir here. Nothing holds a candle to Monty Python (IMHO). But to compare the two ... well, Red Dwarf is a bit more cynical and sarcastic, which is something I can relate with.

Never heard of Fawlty Towers though. I'll have to look that one up next. Got 6 more seasons of Red Dwarf to stream first.

You're Goddamn Right we Americans Love Benny Hill, and we will go to war to protect his shenannigans. My favorite is the Robot Chicken Funeral of Benny Hill though. Speaking of Gangsta rapper. I think I'll make a beat from the Benny Hill theme song now. Oh and by the way the best sketch comedy show is Mr. Show With Bob, and David. Here is one of my favorite sketches.
