Ch.1 Rescue Plan

October 1986. Contact with Exxon Pumping Station #31 in British Columbia has been lost and a rescue team has been assembled.

The environmental activist group, North Wind, had threatened to bring operations to a halt. Could they be behind this sudden communication failure, or is something else going on?

OOC:   I also do not object to the plan. Nor does Harold, for that matter. He’s not as young as he used to be, and all the hiking (if it can even be called that) from the previous few days has left him stiff and tired, so he doesn’t have enough mental energy to argue/speculate about the best course of action.

Harold is trying to keep his distance from Bill and eying him suspiciously, still not entirely sure what to make of this stranger.
