IC-Ep 2-The West Wing(Jacques only)

[Mr. Handy]

Duc's Palace, Hallway - Vyones, Auvergne, France
5:30 PM - Monday, April 20, 1517

Jacques strolled down the hall to the left, passing more alcoves on either side. Most of them had suits of armor, but none of them were the automaton. At the corner was a round tower with stairs leading up, and the hallway turned a corner to the left, heading back toward the front of the chateau.

With one last worried look back towards the others, Jacques prays they are safe then heads quietly up the stairs...

[Mr. Handy]

Jacques ascended the stairs as quietly as a man in armor could. They spiraled around a central column, with arrow slits in the outer wall once he reached the landing of the floor above. A doorway led out to halls going west and south. They looked like the halls where the guest rooms were found. The stairs also continued upwards.

Jacques, please roll Sneak.

Despite his best efforts, Jacques' armour clinks and clanks. He decides to retrace his footsteps and collect the others, unless by some saintly miracle they have actually found the automaton.

When Jacques reached the bottom of the stairs and returned to the hall, he could see that Elizabeth and Diego were still talking to the guard all the way at the far end, beyond the armory door. There was no sign of the others.

[Snapper]

Jacques strides purposefully towards Elizabeth and Diego. "Miss Elizabeth, Don Diego, I'm so pleased to have found you both. There are some, ah, matters I wanted to explore with you both. And your other friends if you can find them." He says this in a slightly over-loud voice, hoping the unknowing will just assume he is slightly drunk. Jacques gives the guard a polite nod.
