Story finds herself unable to turn the lights off in her room - wondering if this is part of the mental disarrangement of regeneration, or a lingering fear from the blackout. Either way, she sleeps in the dark.

In the morning she shows the others to another of the TARDIS's dressing rooms where there are some more period appropriate clothes - meaning heavy-looking dresses - though at least the TARDIS can fabricate them to be lighter than they look, and a little bigger on the inside, so moving in them is easier.

“Not quite what I was expecting but still fun nevertheless!”

Ooc, have we gone for noble or maid servant attire? A very different reception for each! I would suppose noble if we are to have a sensible audience with the Duc. But it might be worth covering all bases between us so that we can talk to all classes.

Elizabeth knew nothing about the crystal, except that it was not the same thing as the Shining Trapezohedron.

Unless anyone asks for maid-type clothing, Story will default to making upper class gear - it's how we've largely presented ourselves thus far.

Story checks the scanner - it might raise some awkward questions if we are seen emerging from the TARDIS.

[Mr. Handy]

The scanner showed that the room outside was deserted.

Story heads outside to see how long the party have been asleep.

[Mr. Handy]

Sunlight was coming in through the open window, and the sun was low in the sky. It was early morning.

Elizabeth exits the Tardis bright, breezy and feeling ready for anything.
“What a beautiful morning!” She exclaims, peering through the latticed glass.

Brook also emerges from the TARDIS, albeit slightly later than the others.

“Good morning! Or should I say, um; bon petit dejeuner! Or does that mean breakfast? Speaking of which, I’m starving!”

[Mr. Handy]

There was a pull rope in the room that could be used to summon a servant.

Once everyone is outside, Story pulls on the bell. "A servant might also be able to tell us if anything else untoward has happened during the night," she says.

“Best we find some suitable clothes too,” replies Brook, looking down at her PJs. “Then the servants can help us into them. I guess they laced themselves into corsets and stuff, yeah?”

[Mr. Handy]

Story heard quiet footsteps walking on the other side of the rear wall of the guest chamber.

Story puts a finger to her lips with one hand, and mimes footsteps with the other. She goes to the rear wall of the chamber, listening carefully (and taking the chance to scan for anything resembling a secret door).
