”Let’s go then!” said Ota tersely. He’d seen the swarm approaching and didn’t want to get caught in the open.

[Snapper]

"OK, we're not getting back in there. Sheriff, where's somewhere we can hole up quickly? Is there a hospital or clinic?"

Rourke hastily pulls the map printout from his jacket and opens it, looking for somewhere nearby that would be easily defended.

[Mr. Handy]

"All aboard," says Mary, getting on the truck.

OOC: Yes, he would. There are a couple of banks that have extra security measures.

Santino jabs a finger at the map. 'There's a company bank here. I should be able to get us inside. It's been built with a bit more security than the other buildings. I say we hold up there.'

”Sounds good to me!” barked Ota.

[Snapper]

Rourke quickly heads for the truck, terminal under his arm. "Definitely, let's go. I'm thinking the local military's airborne units can't be far away."

[Mr. Handy]

"Sounds good to me too," says Mary.

You drive as quick as possible followed by the creatures. You stop at the bank and you see that the door and windows have bars (they are open).

[Snapper]

Rourke jumps out, terminal still under one arm, automatic in the other hand. "Right, our new defensive position. Let's make sure it's free of annoying pests and then lock ourselves in." He cautiously approaches the bank.

[Mr. Handy]

Mary follows, her weapons at the ready.

You enter... and you see the infested running in direction of your building (the door are still open). And suddenly 5 infested coming from another room.

[Snapper]

Trusting his colleagues to deal with the inside threat, Rourke frantically throws himself at the door, determined to shut and lock it.

[Philulhu]

”Out of the way!” yelled Ota, pushing past the others and snapping his rifle up to his shoulder. He aimed at the bugs and pulled the trigger…

"Here we go again!" says Mary as she opens fire on the mob, hitting someone.

Falling in behind Ota, Santino whips up his carbine and fires a volley of laser blasts into the crowd of infested, a bolt searing through one at the front.

You hit the 3 infested and the bugs immediatly leave the bodies... and outside you see dozens of infested trying to break the bars of the bank in vain when suddenly the sound of engines outside and shooting. The infested leave the area and you can finally rest.
