Once Andrew has the ladies attention, Archie comes up behind him. He looks down at the muddy mess of his shoes and pants and blushes a bit with embarrassment.

Archie speaks in his English accented French. "Please, pardon the mess, but did either of you happen to see a man come running this way?"
