Jean Luc picked up the puzzle box, turning it in his hand. "What sights could you show us?" he whispered under his breath, which Elizabeth heard.

Jacques looked over at the automaton. "Good evening metal man," he said. "What have you been doing while we were at the Duc's dinner? Do you have any better idea why you are come alive?"

Suddenly, the automaton sprang into motion and advanced on Jean Luc, its arms outstretched. It had no weapon in them, but it was no less menacing...

[Mr. Handy]

Jacques sprang into action, his sword drawn with a metallic hiss. He tried to leap between the automaton and de Monet.

"Hold there! Slow down, Master Suit of Armour, I swear by St John he means no harm and is not stealing from your father! de Monet, put the damned box down in the name of all the Saints!"

Lifting his head up in puzzlement at the sudden commotion, Jean Luc's eyes widened in shock as he saw the automaton lurching toward him. He backed away arms outstretched attempting to ward the machine away, the puzzle box still clutched in his hand. "MON DIEU!!!" he cried out.

Elizabeth leaps out from her hiding place,
“Stop, they are friends!” She runs towards the automaton and puts her hands up, hoping it will understand.
