Seeing the foul creatures, Alex doesn't blink, he just calmly takes aim and fires a single shot into the nearest one, trying to avoid hitting the child but trying to scare the monsters away. What are these foul beasts?

Crowley raised an eyebrow. "These are the things Jan and I found. You may recall me asking the rest of you to examine the remains of one I brought back to camp. And that you ignored."

He aimed the shotgun casually and took a pot-shot with one barrel.

Listening to the gunfire at the back of the group, Butch will stand his ground at the middle and urge the villagers to continue to follow Jan.

Crowley wounds one of the creatures, who run away, Harry transform another in a mass of blood and meat. The other creatures look at you with malevolent eyes... but escape.
The kid is still crying, full of bruises and the villagers try to help and confort him. But they seem grateful for what you did.

'Time to go everyone. Nothing to see here!' Alex rushes back to the main group and begins hurrying them on. 'Just some kind of...wild dog,' he says.

Harry guides the people onward, reloading his revolver. There will be time to treat the bruises once they reach safety.

Whistling to himself, Crowley stood guard at the rear of the crowd as he reloaded the shotgun. His intention was to be the last man out, guarding their exit.

Hearing plenty of gunfire, Jan assumes her colleagues have the issue in hand. She continues to urge the villagers forward whilst keeping an eye out for an ambush ahead.

Some time latter you get outside of the forest and you have two choices: go by a tunnel (and pass by the giant worm) or try to climb a mount,

Isn't the tunnel the only way we know of to get to the safe area?

"We're going to have to sneak past the worm again," says Harry. "It's the only route we know to where it's safe. We'll have to keep everyone calm."

"Well, when we backtracked snake-man here, we didn't see the giant worm that time. If we follow that same path again, we should be safe, shouldn't we?"

"Let's hope so," says Harry, "because we don't have any other choice."

Jan hefts her rifle, “Give me any excuse and that worm’s a trophy!” Jan will stay at the front of the column and will walk on ahead to scout for trouble.

"Just keep everyone eyes front and we should be okay."

Butch will try to put his back to the worm when they get to that point and ensure that the villagers keep going past him with their eyes averted from what's behind him.

Trying his best to distract the locals, Alex starts to recite a sermon. 'Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that you will grant us, our families, and all of our possessions, the love and the power of your most precious blood. Bind and drive out from among us any evil spirits opposed to your kingdom. Surround all of us with your heavenly angels...' he intones solemnly.
