Alex scurries after the others keeping himself as far away from the eyes as possible, even to the point of gripping onto the far side of the wall separating them.

You arrive at the other room and... and nobody was hit by the rays. But suddenly you notice that Butch is missing!

Butch keeps a tight grip on his flamethrower as he waits for the others to catch up to him.

OOC:   Butch, I believe everyone else has actually progressed to a further room, not back the way we came.

"Where's Butch?" asks Harry.

Butch realizes that the eyes are just jewels that could easily be pull off with a knife.

Jan looks around,
“I thought he was with you?” She helps Crawley bind his leg.
“This looks interesting; the skin seems scalely.” She prods it. “Does it hurt, Crawley?”

From behind the statue, Butch will try to reach around and pry out the jeweled eyes to disable the trap.

"I'm coming." Butch shouts.

Harry stands ready near the door, still out of line of sight of the statue.

Butch carefully pries the eyes out of the statue and joins the others in the next room.

Butch gets two rubies richer, and then walks slowly, joining the others.

Crowley pokes his scaly leg dubiously. "Hurt like hell when I was hit by the light."

"This is going to seriously affect my social life." He sighs, aggrieved anew.

OOC:   Is there any point in anyone providing any first aid to Crowley? He did lose HP...

[Mr. Handy]

"Everything okay?" Harry asks Butch.

[Starspawn338]

"Yea, I just had to disable those eye beams so if we have to leave fast, they aren't hitting us in the ass as we go." Butch replies.
"Now let's get on with it."

Crowley:

OOC: Yes, you can use first aid.

Crowley:

Crowley slumps to the floor, looking grey with pain. "I say, Harry, you're pretty good with a bandage. Do you think you could have a look at this hideous leg, bandage up the damage a bit?"

[Mr. Handy]

"Let me try," says Harry, who does so to no avail. He thinks that perhaps a veterinarian would have better luck, but he doesn't say so.

He passes him some liniment, 'Try this.'
