Jan walks along the murals but she doesn’t glean much from them. She then walks up to the figure and watches as Alex inspects it.
“The female is the more deadly of the species.” she murmurs.
“Well at least we’ve found the under-dressed jungle lady. She’s slightly larger than I was expecting though.”

Fascinated by the sleeping snake person, Alex looks around her throne, trying to make out the decorations and if there is any kind of message. This figure is some kind of serpent person deity or priest, he is both attracted and repelled by the theological and occult implications of such a discovery. And the...possibility of communicating with such an entity.

“I wonder if we can cut off the head, it would make a fine trophy!”

"I think she's still alive," says Harry, "and we're supposed to bring her back in one piece."

Butch slings his flamethrower over his shoulder and walks up the ramp to examine the mummy.

You find under the throne a box and it contains robes, scrolls, a whip, a scepter and you see another box inside of which appears to be designed to
hold a crown, is found to be empty. Nothing else is in this room. Time to go back!
By making a stretcher, you transport the mummy back to the plane. No sign of the nazis


OOC: Unless you have anything else to do, this scenario is finished. Everyone recovers all HP, but keep the scars for each injury. You recover 1d10 of san, minus 1 point of the starting san (ex: you started this scenario with 80 san, lost 5 points, you can only recover 4 points)

Alex lets the others carry the body on the stretcher while he makes a cursory reading of the scrolls and looking over the robes, whip, and sceptre. 'Fascinating...Do you think we have to give back all these interesting items as well?'

"The Smithsonian?" says Harry. "They'd probably crate these things up and lock them in a stuffy warehouse where nobody would ever see them. That is a nice whip though."

Crowley:

"Well, it will add some colour to my next book." He taps his snake-leg dubiously.

Jan gives up on hacking at the snakes huge neck and settles on the fangs instead, nestling them in her rucksack.

Looking over the items they found, Butch says, "They only said they wanted the mummy so I say we keep these things amongst us for the time being. Maybe these scrolls say more about all this alien archeology."

'Exactly, a little "off the books" research couldn't do any harm, agrees Alex.

Crowley:

Crowley casts a highly judgemental eye over Jan. "Madam, with some judicious editing, you might be cast in the heroic heroine mould. I would go so far as to say you are not un-handsome, if you will pardon the compliment."

"Would you have any objection to my writing of you in such a light in my next scholarly account?"

“Don’t knock yourself out with the flattering adjectives!” Jan retorts to Crowley and then relents as she’s in such a good mood with her trophies.
“You can put me in your book so long as I keep all my clothes on.”
