[Mr. Handy]

"I think we'd better leave that way," says Harry, pointing out the door he sees as he heads for it. "Those snake eyes on the statue are starting to glow. That can't be good."

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley nods. "Lead the way."

Suddenly a ray of green deathlight from the eyes shoots forth at Crowley, hitting him! The area hit by the death ray blisters; the pus-filled blister bursts soon after, exposing a localized area of mutated flesh now covered in reptilian scales.
OOC: Crowley roll 2d6 damage.

Everyone roll1d4. of sanity loss.
I let Crowley choose the place where the ray hit. And include those scales in the character sheet.

At the sight of the mutating ray, Alex lets out an involuntary yelp, and rushes to get out of its field of fire. As he huddles against the rock he murmurs, 'And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.' Then he shouts out, 'Take cover!'

As the beam shoots out of the eyes and hits Crowley, Butch will try to rush through the entrance and around the corner out of sight of the eyes.

"Are you okay?" He shouts back as he looks around the inside of the chamber.

Harry scrambles through the door before the eyes can fire again.

Do we get to roll Sanity first, or is the loss automatic?

OOC:   Crowley continues using his Resilient skill to lose Luck instead.

Crowley is struck in the already injured leg, crying out in extreme agony. Tears run down from eyes focused inwards on pain. "Damn you, snake god, damn you to an eternity in hell!"

Jan swings her rifle onto her back, grabs Crowley under his armpits and starts to drag him away to the door, leaving a long slime trail from his oozing leg.
“Pah! It stinks!” She gasps.

When you arrive near the other other room the eyes start to glow again and...

Alex is not as young as he used to be, and it shows as he scrabbles across the ground after the others.

When you see the ray coming in your direction, you all jump to the gound; this time, nobody is hit. You have a few seconds now before the eyes glow again...

After escaping through the door, Harry will make sure that the statue cannot "see" him through the doorway. He looks around to see what is in the room beyond, and he is ready to slam the door shut once everyone is through it.

Crowley:

Crowley heads through the door and away from the glowing eye snake as far as he can slither.

After the eyes flash again, Butch will move behind the statue to get out of vision of the eyes. Once there, he will scan for any threats.
