"That requires getting close enough to administer the test," says Harry, "but if they're already at the stage where they're coming at us, the test wouldn't be necessary. Of course, we could just put it down and move away, then have the person come forward to drink it."

"My recollection is that a test has to be conducted to confirm this is the snake people's manufactured disease. This 'Yellow Death'. That's one of the tasks Shapiro needs to accomplish."

"In that case, that's what we'll need to do," says Harry.

The machine can actually create a cure if the person is in stage 1 of the disease. If she is in stage 2 or 3 the antidote cannot do anything; only a process of hybridization will save the person. but of course, we don't know how to do it and I doubt anyone would be interested in that.

"Thank you, that's even better," says Harry. "Do we need to put anything into it to make a cure? Can we make some in advance?"

"Every minute we waste here is more people advancing to later stages and dying. We need to go find the source of the infection."

"Right," says Harry. "Let's get moving."

“Come on then, who’s driving these buses?” Jan asks.

"Butch is the one with an affinity to all things mechanical. I assume you are going to be our best driver."

"And speaking from experience, running over the locals is generally frowned upon, however much they might deserve it."

"Okay, if you want me driving and not watching the machinery in the back, I'll take the wheel." Butch says and jumps out of the back of the truck and climbs into the drivers seat. "Let's go."

Harry quickly hops on board, riding shotgun.

Sliding back into the rear of the vehicle and pulling up his knees, Alex continues muttering quietly to himself. 'Oh let's go towards the yellow plague, oh yes, what could go wrong...'

You start the travell. The road is bad, but you have already seen worst. Its is a boring trip, but after 30 minutes, you see a track of fallen trees crossing the road like if elephants had passed and tear down the trees.

"Come on Butch! Give it some stick, we haven't got all day!"

"Are there any elephants in Borneo?" asks Harry. "Or is there some unknown monstrosity here that caused that?"
