Harry attempts a simple greeting in Naacal, not being confident enough in his understanding of the language to say more. He probably mispronounced it too.

Not having quite the linguistic experience of the others, Butch will just attempt to listen and understand what is being said.

She doesn't make any eye contact but says:
"When they ask you what we are talking about, just tell them that I'm making questions about the modern world; those two are humans that are clueless and don't understand the language, but yesterday there was a third one that belong to my kind; he didn't speak but I could detect him".

[Mr. Handy]

"Yes, we brought him here," says Harry. "How are you able to sense him? Is it telepathy?"

[Snapper]

Crowley looked at the two interrogaters, rolling his eyes. <In English>
"She's asking the usual boring questions about the modern world, how are walls made, why do the lights glow, that sort of thing. Deadly, deadly, boring and dull."

He looked back at the lady snake. <In Naacal> "And are you well? I'm trying to arrange for us all to have a good meal together."

[Mephistophilis]

'Unfortunately some of your kind attempted to release the Yellow Death on a human settlement. Well, the one we met was more of a hybrid creature, that may be who you saw. We also encountered some other unusual beings, some eating our corpses, others seemed to be the mythical dholes of the Dreamlands. It all ended in rather a spectacular explosion and the loss of much life. We would welcome your insights into how we can avoid such an incident again.'
