Meanhile, two of the picts decide to concenrrate against Servius, that they recognize as a dangerous threat, leaving the resto of the group even.

Mouse and Servius are starting to feel a bit tired, but are fine otherwise; Tuya is fine.

Tuya grabs the weapon from a fallen pict and turns on a fresh pict as he leaps towards her.

Servius swings at one of his attackers, barely connecting due to being winded.

The last pict look at his dead companions and without any hesitation decides to run in the direction opposite of the fort. Suddenly there is a silence in the woods and only the dead bodies show the carnage that just happened.

“Phew, that could have gone worse.” Tuya retrieves her knife from a dead pict. She mutters a death prayer over the bodies.

"Can't let him report back about us," says Servius, taking out his crossbow and reloading it so that he can shoot the fleeing Pict in the back.

Servius lets fly his bolt.

“Never mind, we’d best get out of here.” Tuya picks up any usable arrows and whistles for her bird to return.

"First, the best part of the battle," says Servius, searching the body of the leader first and then recovering any crossbow bolts that are still usable. "To the victors go the spoils! I see you've already made a start of it." He glances at the Pictish weapon she had snatched up after her own weapon had broken.
