As the sound of the gunshots faded, there was a sudden rumble and shaking of the ground below, as if a minor earthquake had just occurred.

OOC:   Spoiler: If I remember correctly Dave is under some kind of bunker. He had entered through the winery cell at the back of the hotel. then As he entered the bunker he watched a lady running, two hound sized rats attacked him for which he took refuge in the kitchen. Then he followed to some kind of living area with bed bunks and containers, where he found clothes mostly ((oh, read it, it was a staff area). and does he still have his guitar and trusty toolbox or something?

That's mostly correct, but the entrance was hidden in the liquor closet of the truck stop. You still have all your possessions. You can always look back at Chapter 1 if you want to refresh your memory.
