In the garage-
"Good, more customers," said Earl, rubbing his fingers together.

"I don't think he meant-" started Jimmy.

"Scram, kid! You ain't even supposed to be in here!"

Jimmy turned around and scrammed.

Outside the garage-
Jimmy emerged from the garage and went back over to Dave and Mitchell, who were still working on Alice's car. "I told him," he said, "but I don't think he was in a listening mood."

"Meet us at the helicopter," Bo told Baldwin. "The fuel should be just about finished being drained into the barrels by now, and we can load them in the back of your rig." He led Brigetta and Stephanie around the corner to the diner's parking lot while Baldwin got behind the wheel of his truck.

Mitchell snorts from under the hood. "I never knew him to be a good listener but at least he can't say he ain't been told."

In the garage-
Wallace sat on a workbench and moaned, his head in his hands.

The door to the back office opened, and Hammond called out: "Earl, get in here with your shotgun! Trouble!"

Outside the garage-
Kimberly followed Gary over to Baldwin's truck. "Hop in if you want, you two," said Baldwin, starting the engine. "I'll spin you over to the chopper."

The dogs continued barking and growling.

Mitchell stops working and pulls his head out from under the hood. "Dave, did you hear that?"

Earl gripped his shotgun and hurried into the office, leaving Wallace alone in the garage.

"Yeah," said Dave. "Hammond's got trouble, and he called for Earl. Maybe another dead guy will eat them both."

Kimberly got into the cab after Gary, and Baldwin drove the truck around the corner to where the helicopter had landed.

In the garage-
Wallace lay down on the bench and closed his eyes, but the pain was still too much to let him sleep.

Outside the garage-
"I never thought I'd say this," said Dave, "but work sounds good to me too. It's what he told us to do, so he can't blame us for it. He'd probably be mad if we stopped, anyway."

"Woof," yipped Max, as if he agreed. Buddy only growled.

"Work it is then." Mitchell says. He glances over to Wallace before continuing to work on Wallace's truck. "Hey man. Do you have a sleeper compartment in your truck? Maybe you'd be more comfortable in there."

In the garage-
"Yeah, good thinking!" called Wallace. He staggered to his feet and climbed into the cab of his truck.

Outside the garage-
The high-pitched sound of screaming came from the distance.

OOC,[b]Dave[/b] and [b]Mitchell[/b] are actually working on [b]Alice[/b]'s car, not [b]Wallace[/b]'s truck.

Mitchell,The screaming was coming from the direction of the office at the back of the garage. [b]Mitchell[/b] recognized the voice: it was [b]Hammond[/b].

"God damn. It sounds like they got Boss Hammond over a barrel." Mitchell says.

OOC,Oh sorry. Mitchell was working on Wallace's truck in the beginning and I forgot that he got new orders.

In the garage-
Wallace got back out of the truck when he heard the screaming. Taking out his revolver, he headed for the office.

Outside the garage-
Buddy and Max sounded agitated.

"Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy," said Dave.

"Shouldn't we...help him or something?" asked Jimmy.

Mitchell gets a funny feeling in the back of his mind as he listens to the dogs while he's working. "I know it's probably nothing but I'm going to check out what's got Buddy and Max riled up." Mitchell says to Dave. He grabs his baseball bat as he goes to investigate.

Outside the garage-
"I'm with you," said Dave, grabbing his wrench. He and Jimmy followed Mitchell as the dogs led the way into the garage.

Samantha rounded the corner in time to see them entering the garage.

In the garage-
Wallace opened the door to the back office while he held his revolver in his other hand and looked inside. Seeing it was empty, he stepped into the office.

In the back room-
Wallace quickly glanced around the office, but saw nothing of interest.

Wallace Red Crow,[b]Wallace[/b] could hear that someone was standing on the other side of the far door, which led back into the diner.

Samantha walks towards the garage. She is carrying a shotgun and has a rifle slung over her back. She looks around the area, sees the men enter the garage but continues to look for a way onto a roof.

Outside the garage-
There was no visible way to get on the roof from here, but Samantha could continue going around the T-Bone until she reached the rear. That was probably where a dumpster would be found. East of the parking lot was a junkyard, but she couldn't see most of its interior due to the heaps of wreckage. However, she'd have a better view from up on the roof.

Outside the garage-
Samantha kept walking around the building.

Behind the T-Bone-
Samantha walked around the corner and found herself behind the building. The garage had no further entrances here, but it was attached to the diner. There were a couple of fire doors on this side, but they had no apparent means of opening from here. Presumably they were meant to be opened only from the inside. Beside the nearer of the two doors was the dumpster she had sought.

In the garage-
Wallace stepped out of the office. "No sign of Hammond in there or anyone else, for that matter," he said. "I did hear someone breathing just on the other side of the opposite door, which opens into the rear part of the diner."

The dogs looked at the open door to the office and growled.

Samantha looks at the dumpster with satisfaction and attempts to climb it onto the roof of the diner.

The dumpster is still too low to access the roof. Resigned, Samantha walks back round to enter the garage to ask the men if they had a ladder. Besides, she might be able to tell from the dogs' behaviour if they could sense any wild animals nearby; they would be more reliable for sure.
