ooc,Well Whitechapel isn't very big at all, and it's only half a mile from the equally rough Limehouse where Melody has lived most of her life. So I thought we could just have look. If necessary Melody and the other less-posh investigators could ask someone where the murder was.

The companions squeeze into a carriage and head to Whitechapel. Alighting back on the Commercial Road, they ask passersby about the murder. Eventually the find that the body was found in the railyards by Aldgate Station.

When they reach there, they find a few people hanging around, but the entrance has been blocked to prevent sightseers wondering around over the railway tracks. There is no sign of any police. It is nearly 6 pm.
OOC,Shall I move things on to the next day?

'You reckon we could squeeze into the railyard, take a look around?' asks Harry, 'I don't see no Peelers.'

OOC,Sorry guys, but I thought you would get the hint when I suggested moving on. There is nothing to see here. The murder happened earlier, it’s just now that news is spreading. The police are not going to allow members of the public to wander around morgues and crime scenes looking at bodies. Do you think it would happen in real life? The scenario is set at the inquests precisely because it provides information about the murders, and major characters such as police and others might be found there. They usually take several sessions to complete. I appreciate people wanting to be active, but patience is required, as is a pair of open eyes and ears.
Unfortunately the wall of the yard is quite high and there are people around; anyone attempting entry is likely to be seen.

The captain hails a hansom, then raises his cap to the Society members. "The Naval and Military Club, Piccadilly, my good man," he says as he climbs in.
