IC - 11 - Commercial Sector - Sam & Kiara

[Mephistophilis]

Sam and Kiara rush over to Sergei. He looks up and makes eye contact with Sam and starts to say something until he is shocked again by Tyson. 'Stay back please' says Tyson, 'I don't want anyone to else to get hurt.'

“Officer Tyson, can you leave off for a second?” Kiara tries to kneel down next to Sergei. “This guy’s part of our official investigation.”

[Mr. Handy]

"That's right," says Sam, looking to see if Sergei is injured.

As Kiara kneels beside Sergei the other security officer begins to raise his shock baton but Tyson gestures to him to stop, 'This guy's a notorious drunk, you can't rely on anything he says!'

Kiara isn't particularly well versed in medicine, but she gives Sergei the once-over anyway, just in case.

Sam is good at fixing machines, but not so much when it comes to people. "You haven't really given him a chance to speak," she says. "As soon as he opens his mouth, someone smacks him with a shock baton."

Virgil sees the situation and stalks up to Tyson.
“Tyson, can you get us and this man back to Doctor Johnson ASAP? We can go in your vehicle over there. If you can’t find the doctor we’ll settle for a medic and a quiet room.”

"Here, I'll help you up,"

Kiara attempts to help the guy, trying to listen to what he's trying to say."

Tyson stares at Virgil, he seems conflicted. 'I, I...I have to take this guy back to the Security Centre. He'll be fine.'

Crouching down beside Sergei, Kiara can see he's trying to say something.

Virgil,He'll need to convince Tyson to do what he says, I'd say Intimidate, Persuade, Fast Talk, or Charm were all options depending on which way you wanted to play it. Also, Virgil hears the ping of his datapad again - see below if he looks at it

Virgil,A message arrives from [b]Jojo[/b], [color=#0000FF]'Right. Maybe we should just meet. Where are you?'[/color]

Kiara has never been one to pay attention, and this is no exception.

“Pardon? I can’t hear you.”

“Look, this guy is part of our investigation; we need him. We can take him back to our own doctor to sober him up. As you said; he’s just a drunk; let us have the hassle of him.”
Says Virgil to Tyson.

Whatever Sergei is trying to say it is drowned out by the background noise.

Tyson looks very uncomfortable, 'Administrator Kingsley says this guy needs to go to the Security Centre to sober up. I'm not sure we can...'

Approaching from behind Tyson a female figure jogs up to the group. It is Marshal Favre. 'What is going on?' she asks in her French accent. Looking at the bearded man lying on the ground, struggling to speak she says, 'He does not look well, we should take him to the Medical Centre.'

Glancing between Executive Officer Steinmann and Marshal Favre, Tyson shrugs and gestures to the other security officer to take Sergei's feet, 'We'll drive him to the Medical Centre in the bus. Someone should let them know we're coming.'

Sam smiles, glad to see Nicole has arrived. "We'll ride in the bus with you," she says.

"Yep, I'll come along too," agrees Kiara.

Virgil nods and looks around the area to see what people are there.
“I’m coming too.” He’s not going to let Sergei out of his sight this time.
“How did he get into this mess? Did you see?” He asks Sam and Kiara.

Looking around Virgil can see quite a few gawkers but they're keeping their distance. The only people nearby are Sam, Kiara, Nicole, the security officers, and the young doorman who is studying proceedings with a calculated indifference as he lounges against the doorway of Jack's Play.

'I will come with you also' says Nicole. 'CENTRAL, let Dr Johnson know we are on our way.'

'I saw things from quite far away but it looked like this man was arguing with the security officers, then they hit him with their stun batons. I will have to look into this for the Colonial Administration.'

Tyson and the other officer load Sergei into the bus, Tyson's face is grim while the other officer looks quite anxious, and is sweating profusely. Virgil, Nicole, Sam, and Kiara climb onboard. Then Tyson signals to the other officer to drive on and he heads inside Jack's Play.

[Mr. Handy]

"We were in Jack's Play when we heard a commotion outside," says Sam. "By the time we got out there, the beating was already underway."

Kiara leans over the bearded man as the bus moves off. She tries to scan him with her datapad to make sure he's not gadly hurt.

Apart from giving Kiara a nod, Sergei seems to be able to do little more than grunt as the bus buffets him from side to side on the tight corners.

Kiara,The datapad has only limited capacity for medical diagnostics and it does not detect anything significant wrong with Sergei
