Jojo looks up from his work going through the 300+ medical files as Kiara rushes in.

"He needs whiskey?" He echoes Kiara. "Of course we can use some sedatives. Perhaps he is having nightmares such as the Doctor reported and we can just offer to give him something to quiet his thoughts."

Jojo,You're about a dozen records in, so far it is just reports of minor injuries except for one more significant injury where a convict broke his leg during some construction work. Regarding use of sedatives, a successful Medicine roll would allow you to estimate the dose of oral sedative you would need to add to whiskey to incapacitate someone. You'd need to tell me how much whiskey you expect him to drink e.g. one shot or the whole bottle before it takes effect. Alternatively you could just offer a sedative without concealing it. No need for a roll, just say what you want the dose to achieve, e.g.relax, sleep, knock out

“Uh-huh, well quick as you can please Doctor; he’s armed and there’s no telling what he’s going to do,” Kiara urges, fidgeting as she waits for Jojo to come up with the goods.

Jojo will get the sedative and add enough into the whiskey bottle so that four shots would put him to sleep. He will then put enough pills in a medicine cup to knock out Sergeant Montrose.

"Okay, lead me to him. I'm going to offer him the pills to help him relax. If that doesn't work, you give him the whiskey."

“Thanks,” says Kiara, receiving the sedatives. “Um, I wouldn’t offer him pills though, that’d put make him even more suspicious and erratic.”

Her piece said, she hurries back to the others, clutching the container tightly.
