You all see Butch near something,

"Hey, Butch, it's me," says Harry. "The dogs are dead and frozen. They were machine-gunned. What do you see?"

Malone is also coming near, with a pistol in his hand.

"What did you find inside?" asks Harry, his revolver also in hand.

Butch waves at the two coming up.

"There's a dead man out here. Looks like he froze to death as I couldn't see any wounds on him." Butch responds. "He was holding on to this can of kerosene. Why would a man freeze to death while holding onto something he could use to warm himself?"

Alex looks puzzled, 'There's another dead man inside, same story, can of kerosene'.

"Weird," says Harry. "Who else is out here that could have killed them, and where did they go? They had to have left tracks in the snow, but if more came down, they'd have been covered by now." He looks around for any footprints other than their own or sled tracks.

Make all a listen roll please.

Harry hears something.

Alex cocks his head, he hears it too.

"What was that?" Butch says.

You hear some gunshots at south of the base

'Shooting!' exclaims Alex. 'I do not like the look of this at all' he grumbles. 'Come on, let's investigate those gunshots.'

Alex heads towards the sound, pistol at the ready.

Harry also runs toward the sound of gunfire, using the base for cover, his revolver gripped tight in his hand.

From the south, a lone man in a dogsled races out of the swirling ice mist. Two other sleds carrying armed men pursue him as a swastika-emblazoned tri-motor airplane swoops down at the fugitive from overhead.

"We have to help him!" calls Harry, racing to get close enough to fire his revolver. "Those are Nazis trying to kill him!"

OOC,How far away are they?

Butch will look for cover and unsling his rifle from his back and get ready to provide covering fire for the fleeing man.

The lone man is runming in your direction and after a while, you can actually shhot the plane... but so can the plane unless you take cover.

Alex backs into the entrance of the building calling to the man to follow him in. He then goes looking for that shotgun.

OOC,Not sure what cover is here but as I said, I would seek cover as I unlimber my rifle. If the only cover is the building or the plane, I will be running to the plane.

Yes, but running and shooting against a plane flying is more dificult.
