Outside the base- everybody except Crowley.

"We've only just arrived," replies Harry. "We're not the usual staff of this base. They're...not okay."

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Alex looks grimly at Crowley, 'They seem to have cut him up after he died, and froze. I'm not too sure why but coupled with that warning that something doesn't like the cold, and evidence of some kind of fungal infection, can I suggest we take the bodies outside.'

"I couldn't agree more," Crowley says grimly.

He goes searching for some spare bed sheets or blankets that could be used to wrap the bodies / remains in, and some string or rope to tie up that wrapping. Crowley is cautious not to get their blood on him, just in case.

"I wonder if there is an outside building where we could place them until we can bury them?"

Alex and Crowley:
You manage to transport the body to the door but you hear the tempest outside and the temperature is dropping fast.
If you open the door make a con roll.



Marshal is in a corner speaking alone.

The temperatures are:
In the room with the heat 5 Celcius
In the lab room the temperature is -10 celcius.
Near the door: -30 celcius.

After attempting the handle and feeling the pressure of the wind tugging at the door, Alex shuts it firmly and asks 'Leave them by the door, take them out when the weather improves?' He notices Marshal talking to himself in the corner, 'Are you okay my son?'

[Mr. Handy]

"Hello?" says Harry into the microphone. "Can you still read me?"

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley feels the party cannot rest while the deceased are inside. He waits till Malone is some distance away as he does not wish to exacerbate Malone's injuries.

Gritting his teeth, he throws open the door and manoeuvres the deceased out.

Alex:
"Y-yes, I'm ok, I just want to sleep for now".

Harry:
Nobody seems to answer anyome.

Crowley:
You feel a cold as you never thoughjt it was possible. You get the remains outside and after you close the door, the place feels almost hot.



OOC:
There isn't much that you can do. You characters can sleep now ro recover.

Alex sees Crowley manoeuvring the bodies out the door and gives a grunt. When it is closed again he approaches the door and mutters a short prayer for the dead. 'Time for sleep, are we posting watches?'

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley nods grimly. "Shall we head back to our sleeping quarters and make a watch roster? Although I doubt anything human can survive outside right now."

[Mr. Handy]

"Yeah, the storm must be interfering with communications, so we'll get no further with the radio for now," says Harry. "There's nothing we can do until we weather it, and we might as well get some rest. I'll take first watch."

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley leafs through the notebook, looking for any interesting entries.

[kabukiman]

You all have a not very good night of sleep, but Alex recovers 2 HP.
12 hours latter. the tempest vanish and the weather is fine.

[Mephistophilis]

Alex struggles to his feet, feeling tired and sore but not quite as bad as he did the night before. He lights up a cigarillo and takes a deep draw, savouring the pungent aroma in his mouth and lungs before blowing out the smoke. 'Time to bury some bodies?'

[Mr. Handy]

"Unless the storm did it for us," says Harry. "It probably dumped a lot of snow."

[Snapper]

Crowley:

"Even the Boche deserve a decent burial." Crowley wraps up again in his white scarf, leather great coat etc.

OOC:   Was there anything more to discover in the notebook or logbook overnight?

OOC: No, but remember you all failed the spot hiddens rolls in the search of the bodeis and planes...

In the morning, Butch will go back to the radio to see if he can raise anyone. He's been thinking about the message last night, the strange one they said they received.

"Hello hello. Is there anyone receiving out there?"

[Snapper]

Crowley:

Crowley sticks his nose outside the door to see what the morning looks like, if there are Nazis attacking etc.

Assuming the coast is clear, his plan is to start on some temporary graves for the deceased of all nationalities.
