IC - 11 - Back to the Station - Kris

11.30am Friday 12th March 2010, High Wycombe Police Station, Buckinghamshire

Seventeen hours since Regina Balfour was abducted.

The weather has improved since Thursday evening and the sun is intermittently peaking out from behind the clouds.



Kris arrives at the police station to find a rather drawn looking John Balfour giving an interview to a news crew outside. Getting a little closer Kris can see it is the blonder GNS reporter Julie Thomas.

Balfour is talking about Zac Newman and seems to be giving some kind of an appeal to the abductor, although there is an aggressive edge to it as he talks about her being punished by god.

Kris moves closer to listen to what John Balfour has to say, while trying to stay out of the line of sight of Julie Thomas.

OOC,Odd, my reply seems to have disappeared, well, what I said was roll Stealth or Listen depending on whether Kris sneaks close to overhear without being spotted or he stays at a distance and strains to hear what they're saying.

Balfour is ranting about the betrayal of Zac Newman and the failure of the police to find his daughter. Julie Thomas is doing a surprisingly good job of pressing him about his church and whether there might be a connection between Regina's abduction and their rather unusual teachings about the end of the world.

Kris loiters in the background a while longer, listening to see if Balfour says anything pertinent to the investigation.

Balfour doesn't say anything else of interest but while loitering outside the station one of the officers entering says 'Morning Kris' and Balfour turns to notice him. He rushes over with the news crew close behind, 'Where's my daughter, have you found her yet?'

Ignoring the camera, though very much aware of it’s presence, Kris said, ”We’re following a number of leads, Mr Balfour. If you want to come with me, we can talk about it inside.” He held the door open for Balfour to enter.
