OOC: Phew! At first I thought that it'd be Wendy. Ah no, I see it's Sefina.

Turn 13 Mythos Phase
A spiraling hole opens up in the sky, and a car falls out of it and lands near Sefina, nearly knocking her senseless. It doesn't look like any car she's ever seen. It has tail fins.
OOC,Regardless of who draws the card, I'm in a Sentinel Hill location and you're not, so I'm the only one who has to make the test and risk the damage.
Will check (Will 4 vs. 4[Vortex of Time]):
[dice]0[/dice]
Skull, -1, failure. Bulletproof Vest takes 2 damage (the card that forced direct damage went away when the Act advanced).

OOC,The car falls out of the vortex at the beginning of Army of Darkness, the third Evil Dead movie. It gets pulled into the vortex at the end of Evil Dead 2 (along with Ash).
All I'd have left to fight that thing is melee, unless I used my bare hands. We don't have time for that anyway, but it's going to be tough to evade. If I go first, I can equip my flashlight, move to your location, and then investigate twice to get the two clues. Then you might be able to evade, go back to the Ascending Path, and look for another path if you still have an action left.

Turn 13 Investigator Phase
Hearing Wendy's screams, Sefina rushes off into the darkened woods, taking out her flashlight and scouring them for any sign of a way up the hill.
OOC,No, I was mistaken. I'd discarded it at one point because I didn't think I'd be likely to use it, and I'd considered eventually removing it from my deck, but I never did replace it with another card. Looks like I'm stuck with it, but that's not so bad. You can sure use some horror removed from you, if I can ever escape from this monster.

Wendy only has 4 cards left as well, and she's got this so it'll be curtains for her soon!

OOC,Oof! Then we'd better get up the hill fast. If you get down to one card, you can hurry back down to the base of the hill and resign before you get incinerated, but I'll still need your help for as long as you can manage it. You're better at investigating than I am, and I only have one more use of my Flashlight. I'm better at fighting, so if there's a boss fight at the end, I'll have to hope I can handle it alone.

Turn 14 Mythos Phase Sefina screams when she comes across a mass of odd floating bubbles in the air that had been feeding on what remained of a man. It looked like the corpse had aged centuries! Then the thing detects her presence and rushes toward her!
OOC,Will check (Will 4 vs. 3[Rotting Remains]):
[dice]0[/dice]
Second token (skip 13):
[dice]1[/dice]
-2, failure by 1. [b]Leo de Luca[/b] takes 1 horror.

Wendy
Goodo! What's the plan? Remember there's an unrevealed path to move to.

OOC,You should go first. You can explore the unrevealed path you found earlier and hope to grab those clues quickly. Alternatively, you could come to where I am, engage the enemy, and then try to evade. You'd have a better chance than I do with Scrapper, but you'd only have one chance to evade. I need to get a +0 or better, which doesn't have good odds, but I do have four chances, so maybe it's best for me to just try to evade it until I get away.

1 Move to... Path? [dice]0[/dice] 2 horror for Zebulon.
Someone is cradling an infant, a love that Wendy never knew. She feels cut to her very core and a hellish clang strikes inside her head, or it would do, but luckily for her old man Zeb stumbles instead.
