Sweet!

I have been listening to ancient episodes of the radio Fu Manchu series on Audible as prep.

I bought a copy of Pulp Cthulhu at PAX Unplugged for $25 at Chaosium's booth, which includes a PDF copy of it. That was a bargain!

Yes, specially because I paid more than the double (had to pay the shipping)

I should have told you before, but by now it must be quite obvious: English isn't my first language, so sorry for any mistakes :D

No worries, you'd hardly notice and this game is about storytelling, not grammar!

I'm not fussed by perfect grammar, I just love a good adventure!

I'm finding myself hearing this adventure playing out as an old time radio pulp mystery serial.

I feel like we're a bunch of jolly good chaps getting stuck in to a real humdinger of an adventure. And we didn't do too badly bashing down that door and chasing that miscreant given our lack of physical prowess.

It's only Strength that we lack. I've got Dexterity and Constitution in spades.

Netflix / BBC / classic horror fans - I've done the first 2 episodes of the new Dracula TV 3-parter and it's a hoot! From Messrs Gatiss and Moffat of Dr Who and Sherlock fame.

I'm hopping you are liking this game; I'm discovering that this scenario has more holes that a Swiss cheese; this game was not created to Cthulhu players who ask questions and try to investigate (even at the minimum level), The players are just suppose to act and no questions asked :o . Well, I think this is much more interesting as we are playing.

Never heard of that tv show, is it good?

Yes and yes!

I suppose we are all used to the traditional CoC approach of investigating rather than immediately charging at everything. We can't help ourselves but keep asking questions. Please don't stop running it though!

As I said before, this is all playing out in my head as a pulp radio series from the days before TV, and those radio heroes talked a lot.

I certainly intend to ask questions of this guy after we subdue him.

Sorry guys, comedy of confusion by me today.

I'm a newbie to this online forum system but I have been working on the assumption that if another player posts something using the Spoiler-Button, I shouldn't read it unless it's addressed to me. Same with GM Spoiler-Button posts.

Also, if something happens to one character out of observation of the other characters, I have been assuming that information hasn't been passed on until the PC "in the know" expressly passes it on or it's clear from events that everyone finds out.

If I've got that won't, let me know.

I depends: if it is OOC anyone can read (but that doesn't mean that the characters have access to that information. Or I write something as "only those that pass the X test can read the spoilers". Or I write the name of the person in the spoilers.
