IN GAME ROOM - MAIN STAGE

"Good Evening Everyone and Welcome to the Muppet Cthulhu Show. My name is Uncle Deadly and I will taking over the hosting duties for Kermit the Frog as he is… Well… Dead! Here to help solve the crime and figure out just exactly what the devil is going on…. I mean who ever heard of a dead Muppet? Really? I don’t even think we’re alive to begin with. If you cut me do I not bleed? Of course I don’t!! I just spew cotton and thread and other nonsense everywhere. But there Kermit lies.. blood and brain oozing out on the sidewalk. Quite the spectacle indeed. But I digress.. Ahem…. Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you Mr. Magnum PI himself… Tom Selleck "

The curtain opens on Tom Seleck dressed in his traditional Magnum P.I. Hawaiian T and short blue short shorts. The audience goes wild.

Muppet Cthulhu is a new take on the Call of Cthulhu RPG where players take on the role of real Muppets and try to hold onto their “insanity” as the real world of Cthulhu comes crashing down around them. But most importantly... no matter the cost…. The Show Must Go On!

Muppet Mythos Check Gonzo,[dice=total]0[/dice] Fail
Muppet Mythos Check Camilla,[dice=total]1[/dice] Fail
Muppet Mythos Check Skekung,[dice=total]2[/dice] Fail
ooc,No one can currently recall anything about Doozers from their Muppet History.
Camilla seems genuinely frightened by Skekung's twisted smile and hides her beak under Gonzo's arm, squeezing him tightly.

Stephanie, the chicken glares at Camilla jealously.

Image

Hmmmmph.

Skekung's Podling squishes through the hole in the door with a disgusting crushing sound. It might have been something else but if the Podling had any bones under his Muppet felt, he certainly broke one of them. Nevertheless, deprived of his essence years ago, this Podling would feel no pain and express no emotion if he did so.

Image

Mehhhhhhaaaaagh!

Once inside the Podling straightens himself and several other twisted bones settle back into place with an horrific series of loud popping noises. The sounds are hollow and the groans that follow sound straight from a George Romero production of the night of the living dead. There are several gasps and clucks from Camilla's chicken entourage to emphasise the disgusting nature of the Podling's resistance to pain. Any other Muppet, aside from Gonzo,(who is used to dislocated joints from his various failed stunt-works) would be crying out in pain. The Podling feels little of anything that might distract him from serving his Skeksis master.

Everyone outside can hear the Podling rustling with his chain trying to loop it around the door handle.
Podling success roll,[dice=total]3[/dice] = Moderate. ( It should take the Podling about a minute to open the door.)

The awkward semi silence of the Podling at work is broken by Crazy Harry who appears from the Stage curious as to what all the commotion is about.

"Oh, hi, Harry," says Gonzo, giving Camilla a hug. "Did you...hear about Kermit?"
